E! Online’s Marc Malkin asked Kristen if she would be interested in hosting Saturday Night Live.  Here is what she said in response.

“They haven’t asked me to do it,” Stewart said, while hanging out in a suite at L.A.’s Luxe Hotel, where she’s been promoting her new rock n’ roll flick, The Runaways.

Even so, would she do it?

“I would love to say yes for sure, but that is really really scary,” she said. “I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show. It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny—next!’”

One thing she’d totally say yes to is a…romantic comedy! But don’t ask her to name any potential love interest costars. “I don’t know, man,” she said, laughing. “I would want to do it with some cool, unassuming random actor.”

Cinematical asked Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning what they thought of the Eclipse trailer released earlier today.

When I asked if either of them got to see the trailer, Stewart and Fanning turned to one another for reactions. “Did you watch it?” Stewart asked Fanning.

“No, I didn’t,” Fanning replied. “I watched it,” Stewart said with enthusiasm. When I prodded her for specific feelings, she said, “Well, it’s really fast, isn’t it? It’s sort of like a couple of pictures strung together. But it looks good – it looks good! I think Taylor [Lautner] looks really great. Like, he looks very strong and I love his voice in it,” she said. “He’s good in it.”

The Los Angeles premiere of The Runaways is taking place as I type!  I will get this post going but come back to it for updates!

EW’s Popwatch has an article about Kristen Stewart and her less-than-stellar performance record of awkwardness on talk shows, and how it seems she has finally figure it out after The Tonight Show yesterday.

It was a long time coming, but Kristen Stewart finally looked comfortable on a talk show. She stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to promote The Runaways and to show off her legs. Her awkwardness was dialed down to the point that it was completely endearing (as opposed to slightly painful) and her self-deprecation was pitch-perfect as she a) revealed why she was able to laugh at having to clear her throat while presenting the horror montage at the Oscars (“This is gonna baffle some people, but I was so proud of myself that night. I was like Whoa, I didn’t, like, fall down or anything,” she said, flashing two thumbs up when the audience applauded her) and b) explained what her Panic Room costar Jodie Foster told her at an after-party. “She’s like, ‘You know, you could learn a thing or two from me. I think that we should maybe start hanging out.’ I was like, ‘Really?‘,“ Stewart said, feigning disbelief. “I think I probably could.”

Stewart went on to address her “incapability of acting if I’m not acting” and acknowledged that wearing her heart on her sleeve has been a problem for her. She seemed envious about the way her costar Dakota Fanning is able to carry herself. Kristen, the extreme awkwardness just bothered us because we knew there was a smart, funny, articulate girl in there that we weren’t always getting to see. She emerged in part 2 of the Leno interview (embedded after the jump) when you talked about why people your age should know about the Runaways, “the first girls to play aggressive, sexually assertive rock ‘n roll,” and how you and Joan Jett are riddled with a different set of tics (“She’s got a hunch, but a cool one”). Well done. And seriously, great dress.

Kristen was all legs in this dress and heels, looking so good!  I agree that this was her best interview!

MTV answers some questions you may have had after watching the new Eclipse trailer this morning. SPOILER ALERT!

What’s Up With Kristen’s Hair?
The first thing you might be wondering is why Kristen Stewart’s hair looks a bit strange. The reason is that after finishing work on “New Moon” in May, Stewart chopped off her locks for her role as ’70s rocker Joan Jett in “The Runaways.” Shooting on that biopic wrapped last August, just weeks before the start of “Eclipse.” To maintain continuity with Bella Swan’s appearance in “New Moon,” Stewart was forced to don the wig you see her wearing in the “Eclipse” trailer. Some might say the do looks oddly similar to the wig Taylor Lautner had to wear in “Twilight.”

What Happened To Victoria?
Just over a minute into the trailer, we get a glimpse of the film’s central villain: Victoria. But that’s not the Victoria we know from “Twilight” and “New Moon.” That’s because last July, only weeks before “Eclipse” was due to begin filming, Bryce Dallas Howard replaced Rachelle Lefevre in the role she’d played for two movies. “I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for ‘Eclipse,’ ” the actress said in a statement.

“It was actually a really unfortunate circumstance where the actress who everyone really cared deeply about, who has done an amazing job in this role, was unavailable,” Howard told MTV News late last year. “They were looking for someone to fill that slot. It was right before production actually happened, so of course there was intimidation there and feeling a huge responsibility to do my best.”

How Is A Human Turned Into A Vampire In The “Twilight” Universe?
A key driving point in “Eclipse” is the question of whether Pattinson’s Edward will turn Bella into a vampire. “Why are you so against me becoming like you?” she asks at one point in the trailer.

Edward’s answer is that he knows the consequences of becoming a vampire, in that immortal bloodsuckers do not age, while all their loved ones eventually die. Also, there’s the matter of how a human is transformed from a human into a vampire. The answer is that it’s unbearably painful. The process begins when a vampire pierces a human’s skin and releases venom from his glands into the human’s bloodstream. For days on end, the venom courses slowly through the human’s veins, burning ferociously as it travels and eventually causing the heart to stop pumping. It would be no easy task for Edward to inflict such pain, nor would it be easy for Bella to willingly invite it.

Why Is Everyone So Scared Of Victoria?
Why, because of her army of newborn vampires, of course. See, freshly converted vamps pose a potent threat, as they’re often uncontrollably vicious killers. Victoria has been going around Seattle slaughtering humans and building a legion of newborns. Victoria on her own is a danger that Edward and his crew could likely face. But Victoria and an army of out-of-control vampires? That’s serious cause for concern.

What, No Werewolves?!
The first “New Moon” trailer blew fans away with its first glimpse at the transformation of Lautner’s Jacob Black from human to werewolf. But if you were hoping to catch some more shape-shifting action in the “Eclipse” trailer, you’ll be disappointed.

Yet have no fear! “Eclipse” is set to feature a slew of wolf battles. You don’t think Jacob and his crew are going to walk away from a fight with Victoria’s newborn army, do you? And besides, it’s hard to complain about a lack of a hirsute Jacob when the trailer delivers what you really want: the dude flashing those famous abs.

I’m not sure where this 3D rumor started. I have thought all along it doesn’t make sense. Then, apparently a fake press release went out today announcing that Breaking Dawn would be in 3D. Gossip Cop confirms it isn’t true:

Earlier today a press release went out claiming, among other things, that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn “will be split into two movies, and filmed in 3D.”

But that “press release is inauthentic,” a rep for Summit Entertainment confirms exclusively to Gossip Cop.

The rep, who further called the release “fabricated,” added that no official decision has been made about the division of Breaking Dawn, but that Summit is working with author Stephenie Meyer to bring her vision to the big screen with all the “creative elements” necessary.

Meanwhile, a well-placed source tells Gossip Cop that, while splitting Breaking Dawn is likely, filming it in 3D is a longshot.

BTW, we found out that Taylor’s going to be at the premiere of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning’s new film, “The Runaways,” tonight (March 11) at the Arclight Theatre in Hollywood.

Quotes from the Book are Worked in Naturally
In this 90-second trailer alone we get a handful of familiar quotes from the book, which should delight those who know Eclipse by heart. Thankfully, lines like “I’ll be there when your heart stops beating” sound a LOT more natural than lines about lions falling in love with lambs.

The Proposal Scene!
When we spoke with screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, she told us to watch for Eclipse’s proposal scene… and we get (part of) it right here in the trailer! (“Isabella Swan, I promise to love you every day of forever.”) Squee away.

Edward Cullen Almost Looks Like a Real Boy!  (Almost.)
Real talk: the vampire make-up in Twilight bordered on theatrical. Though Chris Weitz toned it down in New Moon, it’s never looked as subtle as it does here in Eclipse, where Edward looks only slightly otherworldly and Victoria just looks like a girl who’s never been out in the sun. We’ll reserve judgment until we see more of the vampires in the full film (and see how Slade handles sparkling, if at all), but if the trailer’s any indication, Eclipse could give us the most realistic looking Twilight vampires yet.

Here is some information on Peter’s visit from local news WICU12.

His name is Peter Facinelli.  But to the fans of the blockbuster smash hit “Twilight” and “New Moon,” he’s Dr. Carlisle Cullen.
And on Sunday, he received a warm welcome after paying a visit to thousands of fans, at the Millcreek Mall.

“Erie sounded like a great place for a vampire, being that it’s Erie and all,” said Facinelli.  “There’s a nice crowd here,and I’m excited that they’re here to support me, and the Alex’s Lemonade Foundation.”

In order to get a good spot in line, fans arrived extra early.  “Twilight” fan Sara Skitka was the first in line.

“To be first in line, is absolutely amazing,” said Skitka.  “I got this stabbing feeling in my stomach.”

The “Twilight” movies are based off of vampire romance novels by author Stephanie Meyer.  The saga has broken several records.  On the first day “New Moon” was released it broke box office sales, with a single day domestic gross of over $27 million dollars. As it continues to grow in popularity, Facinelli’s visit leaves many star-struck.

Worldwide, “New Moon” has raised a total of over $700 million dollars.  With this type of support, Facinelli tells us how it feels to draw this size of crowd.

“I’m always humbled by the amount of fans that these events draw,”  said Facinelli.  “The fans of these books and movies have been phenomenal.  And I’m excited to be part of it.”
