Variety is reporting that Stephanie’s Meyer’s Host is a hot international title at Cannes. Soairse Ronan has been cast in the role of Melanie/Wanderer in The Host, the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s non-Twilight novel. News out of Cannes today is that Andrew Niccol (Gattaca) has been chosen to direct the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s book The Host. Niccol adapted the screenplay for the film as well. Andrew Niccol has been set as the director of The Host, directing his scripted adaptation of the bestselling novel by Twilight Sagaauthor Stephenie Meyer. [...]
