Congrats go out to Kiowa Gordon, who has been cast in a new Canadian independent film entitled Lesser Blessed. Benjamin Bratt is also cast (previously announced). More from THR:

Twilight actor Kiowa Gordon, Chloe Rose and Tamara Podemski have jumped on board Lesser Blessed, Canadian writer/director Anita Doron’s coming-of-age feature from indie producer First Generation Films now shooting in Canada’s north.

Gordon, who played Wolfpack member Embry Call in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn I & II, will perform opposite Benjamin Bratt, who earlier signed on as a lead in the Canadian indie project about a First Nations teenager struggling to cope with a painful past and trying to find his place in the modern world

It was a fun weekend spending time with the fans and fellow fansite owners. We also had the opportunity to interview a few of the cast members. You can keep an eye out for those interviews in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we have plenty of photos to share of the cast, and anecdotes from our live tweeting, in case you missed it.

The ladies of The Hillywood Show, Hilly & Hannah, MCed the weekend. Here they are in their Alice and Kristen costumes.

Tinsel Korey looked beautiful in her solo Q&A panel on Saturday.  She gets pretty silly during her panels.

A few bits from Tinsel’s panel:

*Tinsel loves all types of music. Right now she is enjoying Rihanna and Adele’s “Someone Like You.”
*She refuses to choose Team Edward or Team Jacob. She does say that if she had two hot guys fighting over her, she’d pick both.
*Tinsel doesn’t get recognized much in public because the scar on her face when she plays Emily gives her some public anonymity.

The site owners of various wolf pack fan sites took the stage for a panel. The panelists got some great questions from the audience and then a few members of the audience took part in a howling contest. The winner won a photo op with Kiowa, Tinsel and BooBoo. The sites involved were: LovinChaske.com, KiowaGordon.net, TeamTaylorLautner.com, and JuliaJonesFans.First-Beach.net.

During Charlie Bewley’s first Q&A of the weekend, he showed off his duds from TJ Maxx. It turns out he’d forgotten to bring any luggage with him and had no clothes. He’d gone to stock up at TJ Maxx and Walgreens!

A few bits from Charlie’s panel:

*Charlie said Rob’s name over and over to rile up the crowd. Then he resorted to what he said was his nickname for Rob: P****-whipped Pattinson
*Charlie’s weirdest fan interaction was when he found out a fan had tattooed his face on her thigh.
*Charlie confirmed that his dramatic entrance in the end of Eclipse was him just being a showoff. He’d have mooned the Cullens if he could’ve.

At the Volturi Ball, the fans were dressed to the nines! The party started at 11 and went on for quite a bit. The celeb guests (BooBoo, Tinsel, Kiowa and Charlie) seemed relaxed and enjoyed the time of dancing, chatting with fans, and generally having fun. The ladies from The Hillywood Show were hosting the event. There was a contest for the best dressed (winner pictured below) and a centerpiece contest (Angie’s favorite is pictured below, too).

On Sunday, the day got going with a panel from Tinsel Korey, Kiowa Gordon and BooBoo Stewart.

A few tidbits from the Kiowa/Tinsel/BooBoo panel:

*Booboo’s favorite rock band is Boston. Tinsel says My Chemical Romance. Kiowa chooses the Beatles.
*Booboo says he’d like to be a wizard vampire. Tinsel pointed out that he just needs to be Cedric Diggory.
*Tinsel’s favorite food: Steak & mashed potatoes. BooBoo likes Chinese food. And Chicken and Waffles. Kiowa loves Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles.
*Tinsel says her favorite Twilight soundtrack is the original because of Robert Pattinson singing on it.
*Kiowa says before he started acting he worked at AMC Theaters. Tinsel did landscaping.
*Tinsel spilled the beans that Charlie Bewley auditioned for Captain America.

The ladies of the Twilight Lexicon hit the stage a few times during the weekend to talk about their experiences. These ladies have experienced a LOT of amazing stuff!

Charlie Bewley had a second panel on Sunday. This time, he brought two of his buddies along and there were a few hijinks that followed as a result.

A few tidbits from Charlie’s second panel:

*Charlie confirmed that he did indeed audition for Captain America, but didn’t expect to get it. He says “everyone” auditioned for that role.
*If Charlie Bewley could be anyone besides himself, who’d he be? He picks Jesus.
*Before acting, Charlie was a taxi driver, a henna tattoo artist, pole dancing poll salesman, a bartender, a waiter.
*Charlie tells about pranks on set where everyone was sticking Team Edward/Team Jacob signs on other actor’s backs. He says he stuck Team Edward on Rami Malek’s back and went to take a picture. Unknowingly at the time, someone was also sticking a Team Jacob sign on his own back at the same time.
*He wanted to know what fans would actually do if they got their hands on him? He took a poll asking how many of the audience would rip off their clothes, jump on him, and lick.

Peter Facinelli wrapped up the weekend onstage on Sunday afternoon. The hall was packed, as usual for when Peter does his Q&As. This ended up being a very special one, as he went well over his allotted time, and spent time out in the audience.

A few tidbits from Peter’s panel:

*Peter talked about Carlisle Cullen’s hair evolution from Twilight to Breaking Dawn.
*If Peter had to be stuck on an island with another cast mate, he would not pick Taylor because Taylor would just walk around all day with his shirt off. Instead, he’d pick Kellan to crack coconuts!
*Peter has a smurf collection. Says his assistant recently put all his smurfs in wierd places! Peter has a “bucket” of smurfs.
*Peter would like to work with Sean Penn, Denzel Washington, Robert Deniro, Scarlett Johanson and Jennie Garth!

At the very end of the day on Sunday, during Peter’s time on stage, Charlie Bewley jumped on stage and invited the fans out to pose with his Toyota Prius that he and the other guys are driving around for their research for their upcoming film. Sunday 28 August 2011 Charlie Bewley asked the fans of the Cincinnati TwiTour to join him and Steven Grayhm outside to take a picture with their Toyota of Santa Monica Prius. The guys have been taking pictures across the country documenting their trip and according to Charlie there was not a more ridiculous situation to put the Prius in than having the whole fandom in the picture with the car. We agree

‘Twilight’ Movie Star Arrested in Mesa, Ariz.: MyFoxPHOENIX.com

At the time of our reporting this morning, Gordon was still in custody, but he’s been released based on his Twitter comments, including one that he posted and then promptly removed saying, “Freedom! Wow!”

In addition, our affiliate Kiowa Gordon Online has an official statement from Kiowa’s agent, which clarifies that, despite earlier reports, Kiowa was not arrested for suspicion of DUI:

The Mesa Police Department arrested Kiowa Gordon for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued by the Mesa Municipal Court. On 08-08-11 at approximately 6:50 AM, the Mesa Police Department dispatched a police officer to meet with the Tempe Police Department for a misdemeanor warrant hand-off. This is standard protocol for Phoenix area law enforcement agencies when a subject is arrested for a warrant from another local municipality. Kiowa Gordon was a passenger in a vehicle registered to him when he was stopped by the Tempe Police Department. During a registration check on that vehicle, it showed the registered owner (Kiowa Gordon) had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. The first warrant was issued by the Mesa Municipal Court ($1000 bond) and the second had been issued by the Scottsdale Municipal Court ($500 bond). Kiowa Gordon was arrested by Tempe PD for the outstanding warrants. There were no new charges as a result of Tempe Police Department’s contact with Gordon.

The Mesa Police Department took custody of Kiowa Gordon from the Tempe Police Department at 2630 W. 8th Street and he was transported to the Mesa City holding facility for processing on the outstanding Mesa warrant. The warrant was for a failure to appear charge out of the Mesa Municipal Court, with a bond amount of $1000. Kiowa Gordon was not investigated or charged with any new DUI related charges.

Well, it seems the scandal can no longer alude our Twilight cast. Twilight Saga wolf Kiowa Gordon (who plays Embry Call) has reportedly been arrested in Arizona for suspicion of DUI. More details from TMZ:

Actor Kiowa Gordon — who plays a shapeshifting werewolf Embry Call in the “Twilight” movies — was arrested in Arizona yesterday on suspicion of DUI.

During the arrest, cops discovered there was an active warrant for Gordon’s arrest — after the 21-year-old failed to appear in court over a previous arrest for drug paraphernalia possession and giving alcohol to minors.

As of the time of the report, Gordon was still in custody. We’ll let you know what comes of it. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t recall any cast members having been arrested in the past, or at least not since production on the series has begun.

Kiowa Gordon who plays Embry Call in the “The Twilight Saga” films, will be a special guest Saturday at the event, which continues through Sunday on the powwow grounds at the Cheyenne-Arapaho headquarters.

“It’s getting in touch with my heritage, my roots,” he said of appearing at American Indian events. “It’s important to me. It’s my culture.”

During his visit Saturday, Gordon, who is of Hualapai descent, will mingle with fans and be honored at a noon reception, take part in activities and participate in the 7 p.m. grand entry of dancers.

“It’s a real honor that he’s going to be able to make an appearance here to inspire our youth,” said Dara Franklin, chairwoman of the powwow committee. “He’s causing a lot of excitement with all the girls.”

Quileute Nation Chairwoman Bonita Cleveland has announced that Native American Twilight film stars Kiowa Gordon and Tinsel Korey will be joining the Quileute Tribe for their upcoming Quileute Days Celebration set for Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17 at LaPush. A full schedule of events is to be released soon.

Tinsel Korey made an appearance at LaPush during the September 2009 Stephenie Meyer Day/Bella’s Birthday event. She is from Toronto, Canada and played Emily Young in the New Moon and Eclipse Twilight films. She has appeared in a number of other movies.

Kiowa Gordon is a Native American actor born in Berlin, Germany, who plays the character Embry Call in the film versions of author Stephenie Meyer’s books New Moon and Eclipse, according to the websitewww.twilightsage.com. Gordon’s profile reads: “In 2009, Gordon played shape-shifter Embry Call in New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel of the same name. Gordon stated that Meyer approached him at her church as she thought he would be perfect for the wolf pack. Kiowa Gordon tweeted that he is filming on The Projectionist, which is a film shooting in New York City. Kiowa is featured on the movie’s official site here. He’ll be playing Private Locklear. The film’s synopsis is yet to be revealed.

Looks like the cast also celebrated Kristen’s birthday as well. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall of that party!

I was leaving the hotel of my friend, walking on the street, I looked into a restaurant and bang I saw Alex. After I saw Kiowa and Bronson. So I waited in front of the restaurant, I sent a text to my friend to join me there. We waited 45 minutes, after Alex went outside the restaurant and he came to us, asking us if we were waiting there for them, we said yes. He asked us if we want to take pictures, we say Yes lol. He invited you to enter into the restaurant with him and wait for the other guys because that was cold outside. We talked with him, he was so friendly, he gave us hugs. Bronson arrived, presented himself, ask for our name, he was so friendly too and then Kiowa arrived and we took some pcitures. And I’m a french Canadian and I told them that I was. When we thanked them for the photo, Alex gave us another hug, and Bronson said : Aurevoir, Merci Beaucoup. (It’s Goodbye, thank you so much in french).

That was amazing, I’m in Vancouver to see the Twilight Cast so that’s awesome !
