Maybe Anna Kendrick & Taylor Lautner were the only Twilight stars who attended the 67th Golden Globe Awards last night, but multiple cast members made appearances at the after parties, including Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Edi Gathegi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peter Facinelli and Christian Serratos! What a gorgeous group of people.

Alex Meraz chatted recently with Saturday Night Magazine about getting the role of Paul and the competition between him and Taylor.

There must have been some fierce competition for those four new werewolf roles. What was the audition process like and how did you finally land the role of Paul?

It was an intense process. When I received the call for submissions, I had already started working out because I knew it would be physically demanding. After a couple rounds of callbacks, I was lucky enough to land a role.
