This is a big summer for you. You have three big projects. How does it feel?

Noel Fisher: Overwhelmed and really excited all at once. It’s one of those situations where I’m still trying to work out whether it’s real or not, but I think it is.

Let’s talk about the ‘Hatfields & McCoys.’ What’s the premise and who’s the character you play in it?

Noel Fisher: Hatfields & McCoys’ is based on a true story about this really massive feud between these two big families, the Hatfields and the McCoys who live in West Virginia and Kentucky. It started a really long time ago, right after the Civil War. Basically, these two returning veterans of the Civil War go back to their homes and are each kind of the heads of their families in really significant ways. A lot of little misunderstandings kind of pile up and become bigger misunderstandings until it starts to get violent. Then it almost basically becomes a second Civil War almost. I believe the army almost got brought in. It’s this crazy thing that last a really long time. Not in that much of a pitched kind of fever, but it still lasted, I think, a couple of hundred years.

What was it like working on ‘Twilight’?

Noel Fisher: It was a lot of fun. It’s such a massive cast, and what was really cool about that experience was that the cast was really split because in this part of the book and the second movie, Stephenie Meyers’s world really expands and you get to meet a lot of new people. So, there were a bunch of new, kind of rookie people added to the franchise, including myself. Then there were all these people that have been there for years and years. So, it was a really nice mixture of all the veterans welcoming everyone in a really lovely way and all the newbies kind of getting to hangout and we’re all introduced to the world at the same time. It was just a really good feeling on set and I walked away with a lot of good friends.

Now that you’re going to be in ‘Twilight’ have you seen something different in terms of fan interaction?

Noel Fisher: Some people on ‘Twilight,’ along with some of my other friends, basically, finally convinced me to get into the social media thing because I’ve resisted it for a long time because I’m completely computer illiterate. I just wanted to spare myself public embarrassment, but I’ve actually really taken to the Twitter and the Facebook. I really enjoy it. In terms of the fans, ‘Twilight’ has definitely been.the fan base of that franchise is really something special, I think. They’re so genuinely supportive of the actors and really anybody involved with it. My Twitter feed is one big pile of love every morning. It’s a really nice feeling and I really appreciate it.

Kristen Stewart is one of several celebs that have been announced as presenters at this year’s MTV Movie Awards. The show will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live on June 3 at 9 pm PT. Most recently, Jennifer transformed Kristen into a raven-haired beauty for ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, so Jennifer’s first hurdle was to reverse her own work. “Going from black to brown is definitely a challenge,” Jennifer explained of the process,“especially since Kristen’s hair color was grown out so much from not coloring it since SWATH.” Jennifer said it took hours of coloring to get Bella back, “I had to darken Kristen’s natural root since she’s so light naturally and lighten her ends to match her newly darkened root.”

While it’s often just another day at the salon for someone like Kristen to alter her hair for her films, we wondered if it was as easy for a client like Rob. We asked Jennifer if there is a different mentality for a colorist when working with men. Jennifer detailed,

There are two different types of color for men. Color that looks like it’s colored and color that looks like it’s not colored. I specialize in men’s hair color because I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve that can make hair color for men look great but natural. So many men have problems with their hair color looking red and brassy which reads fake on a man but I use color in a way so that it really looks untouched and more masculine.

But, Rob isn’t exactly a stranger to changing his hair color since he’s had different shades for The Saga and ‘Water for Elephants’. In fact, Rob was a good sport in the process. “Rob was happy that his hair color was grown out,” Jennifer said, “so he wanted something as temporary as possible.” While they had to stay focused on Bella’s look, Kristen also had some input in what the final product would be. “Kristen wanted something that would be healthy and shiny looking,” Jennifer described. “I used all semi-permanent colors from Wella Professionals, and they are super shiny and vibrant.”

Nikki Reed told Celebuzz that she can’t wait to see how Kristen looks on-screen because she made the most gorgeous vampire while shooting.

“I haven’t seen in any clips yet, but I will tell you Kristen [Stewart] makes the most gorgeous vampire– it’s insane,” gushed Nikki.

“She really does. When we were filming I was just looking at those red eyes — it’s fierce! The fans are going to die.”

Now that filming has wrapped, has Reed been hanging with any cast members?

“This is just the honest truth — I see my costars all the time,” Nikki told Celebuzz’s Taryn Ryder.

“Kristen and Rob live ten minutes away, so that has been great. They’re great! And Peter [Facinelli] lives five minutes away, Jackson [Rathbone] lives three minutes away. We’re all super close to each other so it has felt like we’re still working together.”

She also talked to them about pressures to have a baby now that she’s married, and her latest project: a jewelry line!

Now that she’s happily married to former American Idol contestant McDonald, the gorgeous actress admitted babies are on their mind.

“They are more on the brain for Paul than they are from me,” Nikki said at George Gina & Lucy’s Collection Launch Event at Fred Segel in Santa Monica, Calif. The event benefited Heal the Bay, a non-profit environmental group working to restore Santa Monica Bay.

“Paul is from the South so all of his friends are having babies. He looks at me all the time and goes ‘Should we just do this?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah maybe in a little bit.’”

Jack Morrissey’s latest podcast addressed a lot of Breaking Dawn Part 2 related items that have come up recently, especially the reshoots that are taking place. Twilight Examiner listened closely and grabbed some important items to share with you guys.

“Additional photography” versus “Re-shoots”

Morrissey explained that the appropriate term for the shots being done is “additional photography” and not “re-shoots.” Quite frankly, he stated that the shots being done in Vancouver were the consequence of missed second unit assignments.

“Here’s what I will say. The director, Bill Condon, has said to me several times, as recently as a week ago, that it is a particular point of pride for him, given his overall body of work, to have taken into production a 100 day shooting scheduled movie, a giant movie that would be released as two parts, and to have come out the other side of that and to not have a single day to not have a single scene directed by him in the so-called main unit . . . re-shot. And that includes what’s to come. Not one shot directed by the main unit over the course of 100 days on these two Breaking Dawn movies has needed to be re-shot or will need to be re-shot . . . Nothing that he directed has been re-shot or will be re-shot, which then leads us to be able to say that most of [what’s to come] is stuff that’s from the second unit,” Jack Morrissey said.

“On Breaking Dawn, for everything that was to the second unit director . . . was drawn out, storyboarded, developed and agreed to, so everybody knew exactly what those shots were meant to look like once they were executed . . . The coming additional photography is stuff that was conceived, developed, and was to be executed by the second unit during the period of principal photography. For various reasons, it was not executed by the second unit . . . So, now, because it was not executed by the second unit, up you all go . . . to get what should’ve been gotten [during] principal photography. It’s just that simple.”

Hello Twihards!

Greetings from Los Angeles, where we’re hard at work on BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO. It’s truly crazy to think that it’s been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.

A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.

I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I’ve made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…

I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decode. And wait until you see the first posters — they’re unlike any “Twilight” images you’ve seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!

The Red-Eye Reveal
One of the key characteristics of vampires are those blood-red eyes, and Bella’s steal the show when they get their own close-up in the trailer. When the camera shows them as she is standing with Edward, we know the transformation is complete. The scene will speak to fans who having been craving this next step for Bella the first movie.

Bella on the Hunt
Several shots give us a preview of Vampire Bella in action, including her new lightning-fast speed and desire to hunt for blood. We see her running through the forest and, in the last shot of the trailer, eyeing a deer. This is a pivotal moment for Bella. since she now understands the bloodthirst that Edward has been fighting the entire span of their love affair.

Her Revelation About Being a Vampire
Bella’s personal struggles seem to be over, and her line in the trailer proves that she’s finally found her true identity. She says, “After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I can shine.” The usually reserved Bella is now strong and full of confidence, prompted by her newfound immortality.

Meet the Cullens, Abigail and Andy from Bournemouth, United Kingdom.

This lovely young couple married on February 5, and to celebrate their affinity for The Twilight Saga, incorporated several themes from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′s wedding, including changing their names.

Yes, Abby and Andy formally changed their surnames to Cullen by deed poll after celebrating a lush Breaking Dawn-themed wedding (the couple wanted to share their marital last name, but Abby wasn’t particularly fond of his former surname).

Abby wore a traditional wedding dress for the nuptual ceremony itself but quickly changed into a Breaking Dawn – Part 1 replica gown, as seen on “Bella” (Kristen Stewart) in the film. She also added the prop hair slide and styled her hair similarly to the Breaking Dawn bride. Andy, meanwhile, donned a very traditional tuxedo with tails, much like the one worn by “Edward” (Robert Pattinson) throughout the whole night.

Bella’s first few moments as a vampire
“I was so excited to catch a small glimpse at running Vampire Bella (on the prowl, so to speak) in the sneak peek, and I really hope the first trailer shows us more from the first few moments in her new life. In the book, her first experiences and perceptions were so exciting. Renesmee’s fast growth

The other vamps
For the majority of “The Twilight Saga,” the Cullens have been the only vampires around (besides a couple nomads in “Twilight” and, of course, the Volturi). It’ll be really interesting to see the tons of vampires that come to Forks in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ to help the Cullens protect Renesmee. I’m especially looking forward to seeing Lee Pace as Garrett, not to mention some of their crazy powers, like Benjamin’s ability to influence the earth’s elements.” —Amanda Belcher, TwilightMOMS

MTV‘s Kara Warner has created her wish list for the teaser trailer coming up next week for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2!

Arm Wrestling and Other Bella-as-a-Vampire Scenes
So Bella is a vampire now. Hopefully that doesn’t surprise anyone at this point, since everyone who saw “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ got a little sneak peek of those freaky-colored eyes of hers. As such, we should see a whole new side of Bella in this movie, including an arm wrestling match with Emmett. “I am hoping to see some vampire action in the full trailer,” Mathews said. “There are some great training scenes from the book I hope they include, as well as some great cottage scenes with Bella and Edward! I expect to see lots of Bella as a vampire, and I’m OK with that!”

A Lee Pace Sighting
I’ve mentioned my enthusiasm for the new castmembers before, particularly my affection for Lee Pace, but it is worth repeating until more people appreciate him. Pace, whom you might recognize from his excellent work on the short-lived TV series “Pushing Daisies” or Tarsem’s “The Fall,” plays American nomadic vamp Garrett in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” and although he isn’t one of the major players in the film, his character still has a nice arc and I’m dying to see more of him.

According to The Hollywood Reporter :

After news of record advance ticket sales for Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games, Summit Entertainment announced Thursday that the film’s March 23 premiere will also be the first place to see the trailer for the final installment in its Twilight series.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will screen a teaser ahead of every showing of The Hunger Games, with the full version debuting online the Monday after the opening weekend.

A tease of the teaser will premiere ahead of The Hunger Games, hitting the Internet in the early hours of March 20.

MyAnna Buring, who plays Tanya Danali in The Twilight Saga, talks about her role in the films with Entertainment.ie!

I’ll take your word for it so. Your role in part 1 of Breaking Dawn is quite small but we’ll be seeing more of you in the penultimate instalment?
Yea that’s right. Well obviously the Denalis are kind of more involved in the story in part 2. One of her sisters, Irina is the cause of why the Volturi are alerted to the existence of Renesmee. Tanya’s coven are the first to stand up and join forces against the Volturi with the Cullens and and Tanya is their leader, so yea, they play a slightly bigger part.

For the uninitiated, (shame on them) can you tell us a little more about the character you play?
Well Tanya Denali is the head of the Denalis. She’s a very old vampire who’s been around for thousands of years. She’s actually been described as being one of the original Succubi.

A Succi-whaty? This is getting awfully geeky now.
Essentially the Succubus is a mythical figure – who used to come in and cause trouble with innocent men.

Right, back to Tanya.
Tanya and her sisters have a bit of a back story. She also has a back story in that she has held a torch for Edward Cullen for hundreds of years, [he's only been around for 107, mind] and now with Bella on the scene, she believes that Bella is actually meant for him.

This year the Golden Rasberry Awards, or Razzies, announced their nominations the day before the Oscars instead of handing them out. The Razzies will be awarded appropriately on April 1. Like years’ past, “The Twilight Saga” did not escape unscathed.  ”The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1″ was dishonored with eight nominations – Worst Picture, Worst Actor – Taylor Lautner, Worst Actress – Kristen Stewart, Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Director – Bill Condon, “Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel,” and Worst Screenplay – Melissa Rosenberg.

“Breaking Dawn, Part 1″ wasn’t the most dishonored movie this year. Adam Sandler received 11 nominations.

Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment announced today that the home entertainment release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has sold over 5 million DVD and Blu-ray units in the first 11 days of release. DVD sales for the film, which became available at retail on February 11th, are approximately 13% ahead of sales of the third film in the franchise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, at the same point in its release. Digital sales of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 are also strong with over 74,000 electronic sell through transactions (53% ahead of “Eclipse” at the same time) and over 175,000 video on demand transactions (162% ahead of “Eclipse” at the same time).

Steve Nickerson, Summit’s President of Home Entertainment, stated, “The sales to date of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ are a testament to The Twilight Saga fans’ commitment to and passion for the stories created by Stephenie Meyer. Men get a bye when it comes to their fantasy life – no matter how disturbing or buffoonish – but women are expected to be the grown-ups, even though it’s not much fun being the designated driver. In a strange way, we take female fantasies too seriously and not seriously enough. Our movie fantasies are supposed to be tame and measured, lest they cause alarm. You rarely hear people worrying about protecting society from James Bond’s or Batman’s exploits, but when something lowbrow for women comes along, like the blockbuster Twilight series, the hailstorm of scorn and anxiety rains down. It’s hard to be both insipid and harmful, yet that’s often the standard rap about chick flicks. But if you can ignore the din of derision, a seemingly lightweight adventure like Twilight offers some interesting clues about the female inner world.

Unplanned Motherhood:

…But Breaking Dawn – a movie helmed by an Oscar-winning team — captures the fear, longing, and emotional isolation of motherhood more than almost any movie I can recall. We see this first in the immediate discovery of the pregnancy as Edward, who refers to the embryo as a “thing,” retreats into a whirlwind of manic energy, deflecting his anxiety by packing and arranging flights home, while his young bride stands quietly absorbing the gravity of her situation. In the taxi to the airport, the formerly enraptured couple sits apart in frozen silence. Like voyeurs, we watch the unfolding of an age-old truth: in an unplanned pregnancy story, there can be only one protagonist.

Dangers/Fears of Giving Birth:

Breaking Dawn also engages seriously with the idea that childbearing can be a scary and very bloody business. It’s easy to forget that more than 500,000 women worldwide still die every year in childbirth, and even that staggering number doesn’t begin to capture the many millions more who come close to death or who are left with disabling physical injuries. Not to mention the agony of pregnancy loss, neonatal death, birth anomalies, and other undesired outcomes. Women know this, of course, the way generations of men have known battle stories. War movies, of varying degrees of realism and quality, have always provided a window into men’s hopes and fears.

I mention maternal mortality because it’s not only women’s dreamy fantasies that are absent in mainstream movies. Women’s fears are missing, too. It says something deeply unflattering about the state of American culture that it takes a teenage vampire movie to capture women’s worries, imagined and real, about reproduction and motherhood. For all its freakish implausibility, critics who panned the nauseating birth scene in Breaking Dawn were missing the point.

Deadline.com has now revealed the latest casting additions. Nonso Anozie (The Grey) will play Sergeant Dap, Stevie Ray Dallimore (Joyful Noise) has been cast as Ender’s father John and Andrea Powell (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2) will play Ender’s mother Theresa.

1. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1, composed by Carter Burwell (Atlantic)

Go ahead, call me a sellout. But I don’t think Carter Burwell has ever been given his due for his enormous contributions to film music. And the man continues to plow forward as one of the most creative minds in compositional minimalism as well as full-bodied orchestration. While he was probably disqualified for nomination at this year’s Academy Awards for Breaking Dawn – Part 1 because it was anchored heavily to the original Twilight score, his work was no less remarkable. I would go so far as to say that it was actually better than the original, given that, although he laid the original template for the Twilight sound, he was coming back into the fold on the heels of critical heavyweights Alexandre Desplat (with whom the Academy also bears an unspoken beef) and Howard Shore. Burwell fearlessly picked up the baton and ran with it, giving us a romantic score easily on par with Nino Rota’s Romeo & Juliet (which was also unceremoniously snubbed by the Academy in 1969). • First Kiss – Twilight

The first kiss scene in Twilight was definitely romantic. “Edward” (Robert Pattinson) and “Bella” (Kristen Stewart) aren’t sure how it’s going to work, but they are certain they’ve gotta at least give it a try.

• Reunion - New Moon

Boy, was it nice to see “Bella” and “Edward” reunite at the end of New Moon. We all felt her loss when he said he wanted to end, so for him to finally admit it was a lie was sweet, sweet relief.

Here are the most interesting tidbits-

• The last scene of Breaking Dawn Part 1 is exactly where Part 2 begins.
• “Kristen is the ultimate Twihard.” She remembers the first time she read the books, what made her cry, and she’d lobby for certain lines to be put back in.
• The characters were so comfortable together that “it was between the lines of acting and just being.”
• Towards the end of filming, Kristen Stewart has a scene with Taylor Lautner where Jacob and Bella have a last dance. At the end of the scene as the Quielute recede into the forest, Kristen lifted everyone’s spirits by hiking up her wedding dress and running after Taylor with the hilarious “Jacob! Jacob! I was wrong, I changed my mind, come back, don’t leave me!”
• Kristen Stewart’s Bella in Breaking Dawn 2 is a sort of “Warrior goddess.”
• The original cut of the love scene had “a bit more thrust.”
• Bill Condon toyed with the anticipation for the love scene. He knew it would be impossible to live up to fan anticipation, instead he emphasized reliving the moments as Bella remembered them–where he touched her, where he kissed her, Edward’s smell.
• When Edward and Bella kiss on the beach after the chess game, it was very awkward for them because there were tons of boats with paparazzi in the harbor. The boats had to be digitally removed.
• Carter Burwell’s theme for Renesmee’s lullaby is heard around 46:30, Robert Pattinson will perform it in Part 2.
• Kristen Stewart is an amazing cook. Condon can imagine Kristen as a director, Rob as a writer and Taylor as a producer.
• Part 1 is intimate whereas Part 2 is epic. Many scenes were removed from Part 1 to make it more personal in scope.
• It was nearly impossible to acquire a Visa for Brazilian actress Carolina Virguez (housemaid Kaure) so she could film in Vancouver. A friend of a friend had to contact the White House to make it happen.
• There are 1400 effects shots in Part 1, 2000 in Part 2. In total, it’s more than Avatar. The goal was to not discern when special effects were used.
• Kristen Stewart doesn’t have the vanity of a typical actress. She “wanted to look just as terrible as she could” during Bella’s deterioration.
• Robert Pattinson is unbelievably tender with children, and we’ll see a lot of that in the second film with Renesmee. “Something changes” when he’s around children: he’s very “sweet and caring” with them.
• Stephenie Meyer wore two hats as producer and writer with equal aplomb. She understood what needed to be changed for the movie while not loosing the spirit of the novel.
• Bill Condon’s first Comic-Con for Breaking Dawn was as “unbelievably intense and overwhelming” as everyone told him it would be, he was amazed and pleased at the fan interest in every frame.
• Kristen Stewart pretended to get in a fist fight with her emaciated body-cast dummy on set.
• Condon loved how interactive the fans were in wanting certain scenes to play right, like the childbirth and love scene.
• Condon knew they couldn’t have an R rating, but wanted the childbirth as intense as possible. A rule was imposed in direction to frame the scene as Bella sees it. Stephenie Meyer stood firmly behind Bill Condon in supporting the scene-it wasn’t sanitized it in any way.
• The original score was hugely operatic during the end as Bella recovers into a vampire, it was a huge revelation late in the production to have the score end in silence with her last heartbeat.
