Kristen Stewart will not be part of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ sequel

THR is reporting that the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman will move forward as a spinoff for the character the Huntsman, and will not include Kristen Stewart.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the sequel to June’s Snow White, which starred Stewart, Hemsworth and Charlize Theron, is being reconceived as a spinoff movie. It’s unclear whether directorRupert Sanders will return, though one source with ties to the production says he will. However, screenwriter David Koepp, who had been hired to pen the continuation of the original film, is being settled out of his rich contract, according to sources, as the project is being transformed into something other than the movie that Koepp had been hired to write.

Wow is she paying the price or what?!

Whoa! Totally unfair to keep Rupert and get rid of her. If they do one because of a scandal, then do both. I, for one, won't stand behind that kind of ridiculous reasoning.

….This is interesting considering I read this same story almost 6 months ago. Universal was planning on not having the Snow White character in the sequel anyway. I don't think it's because of the scandal. It was pre-planned.

    I read the same thing.

Universal needs to stop blowing holes in my ship.
I mean, really? I finally had a canon ship. Oh well. I suppose Chris Hemsworth getting his own movie is nice.
Or I could just watch Thor: The Dark World…yeah. I'm just going to do that.

On a side note, even if this was the plan from the beginning, I hope this pointless 'scandal' doesn't affect Kristen's career. I've enjoyed her since I was seven. Her performances in Welcome to the Riley's and The Runaways are two of my favorite performances by any actress. There's something very raw and non-commercial about her and I love that. If she gets blacklisted now, that's a shame. However, I think she'll keep getting jobs within the indie circuit which I think she would be more than content with anyway. But, it's just sad. Why are sexual scandals such a characteristic to Americans? And it's not just celebrities; I mean, look at Bill Clinton. He cheats on his wife once and it's like the God damned world blew up. Meanwhile, over in Germany, some of their Presidents were going on their ninth affair and it was like 'yeah. whatevs.' It's sad when culture has the potential to dictate somebody's career.

Kristen needs to man up and come out of hiding. The longer she waits the harder it will be. She should give an exclusive interview so the media and fans stop speculating. Then it can be over hopefully.
