’50 Shades of Grey’ author does not want Rob & Kristen for the movie
The popular book series 50 Shades of Grey which was originally based on a Twilight fan fiction series called Master of the Universe is being turned into a movie. 50 Shades Author E.L. James was recently asked what she thought if Rob and Kristen were to be cast as the leads in the movie.
Here’s what she had to say :
Speaking at a U.K. fan event, she was asked whether she’d like for Pattinson and Stewart to appear in the film, reprising her transformative version of their old characters, “Bella” and “Edward” who she changed to “Ana” and “Christian.” Shereportedly answered, “I think it would be too strange ! It would just be .. Uggh weird!”

Well, thank God. Why would Robert and Kristen want to be part of a “remake” of the thing that made them famous? It wouldn't make sense, at all.
Thank goodness. It's hard to believe 50SOG became a best seller. It's a terribly written.
That book is terrible..and the movie is just gonna be a friggen porno…thank goodness she doesnt want them!

It's so twisted just from what I've heard. How was it ever fan fiction for Twilight? How does S&M fit into it at all. Bad taste all the way around.
Just because she doesn't want them, doesn't mean she was going to get them. So annoying that people keep connecting Rob and Kristen to the parts, like “oh it is a popular bandwagon, why wouldnt they want the roles.” Hmm, I don't know, maybe because they are trying to break out into films that are going to get critical acclaim, not trash filmed for the mindless masses.
They aren't capable of playing the characters. The books should not be made into movies anyway. If they are, NC17 or X should be the rating.
Lolol I don't like it, but it's better written than twilight. I read it without knowing it was a Twilight FF, and from the start I felt it exactly like twilight, it's so funny that she says this since they are somehow her inspiration.
