I was actually most excited to see MTV's ratings drop. While Twilight did win two awards...compared to previous years I know I didn't even watch it (which is saying something) because I'm just so used to Twilight winning award after award. Granted, I understand, Hunger Games is becoming to new film franchise and I don't know anything about it, but if it makes people happy, ride on. But, I knew that without all of those Twilight awards MTV couldn't sustain it's audience, regardless of Hunger Game fame. The 30% decrease in viewers from last year is saying something. So, MTV, hopefully you learned that you should just keep Twilight in the running for everything possible because, at the end of the day, Twilight fans give you the ratings ;) I'm actually surprised and elated that Breaking Dawn won best movie. Good job guys :) 

I love Twilight obviously, but to be totally honest, the viewership probably decreased because Twilight still keeps winning everything.  I love Twilight, but even I'm getting a little sick of seeing it win everything.  I was hoping for any movie BUT Twilight to win Movie of the Year because having Twilight win is very "been there, done that."  Twilight fans aren't the only ones who watch the MTV Movie Awards.  Twilight haters watch as well, and if Twilight keeps winning, then yes, viewership will decline.
