Jamie Campbell Bower’s ‘City of Bones’ to hit theaters August 23, 2013

I know I have chatted with many of you before about the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I was excited when someone Twilight-y was cast so I could post on it a little. I am excited to report that the film, which will star Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins, is set to hit theaters on August 23, 2013!

Filming is set to being August 15 of this year. Very exciting and can’t wait for more casting news on this one!

What is with the miscasting with these new movies?! Seems like the authors and producers are so thrilled to get "names" they forget what the characters are about and their appearance. Why not virtual unknowns like in Twilight? Sell out.

Not sure I see Lily Collins as Clary either. But can't wait for the film, have really enjoyed the books!

Jamie's a brilliant actor, and seems so nice from the interviews i've seen him in, wish him luck with this film, i'm sure he'll do it well xx
