Stephenie Meyer Addresses Lionsgate Rumor!

There have been several posts going around recently that Stephenie Meyer was reported unhappy with Lionsgate stating they would like to do another Twilight movie. Stephenie wanted to clear up the rumor and posted this on her website tonight!

Hey all,

Just wanted to clear up a little rumor making the rounds. I have absolutely no issues with anyone at Lionsgate. Far from being a negative thing, it’s actually a very nice feeling to know that both Lionsgate and Summit would like to make another Twilight movie if I were ever to write another Twilight book. So, thanks for the support, Lionsgate and Summit. I look forward to working for the first time with new friends at Lionsgate and working again with my old friends at Summit!

    i cant really read that good at all so when it come to twilight movies is all i can see so if there is a nother movie i hope it something to do with jacob and his new love for bella's little girl

    The books are so much better then the movies because they tell and explain so much the movies dont. Anyone who has only seen the movies should read the books.
    I would also like to know what happens to Jake and Renesmee

    If she says she looks foward to working with new people at Lionsgate and the old ones at Summit… does that mean she's thinking about another book??? :D
    Probably not, though.

    Steph should write a book about jacob and renesmee, and talk about them having a baby.  It would be a wolf/vampire/human baby, which I think would be such a cool story!!!

    Also, books about how Carlisle, Esme, Edward, etc. were created is described in The Official Illustrated Guide book, so maybe books about that would be too repetitive?

    I believe Bella & Edward story was told very & continuing with them could possily mess up the story. I would love to read Midnight Sun if Stephenie decided to release it. As far as another book & movie I would love to see one about Jacob & Renessme. I would like to see Jacob get his happily ever after.

    I think there should a movie about renesme and Jacob. When they get married.

    Have you thought about writing another book about renessme when she gets older and her relationship with Jacob, and the possibility of the Voluturi revisiting the Cullens. Poss new love triangle of Renessme, Jacob and the half vampire from South America? If you can't tell I don't want it to end lol!

    Wasn't there supposed to be a book called Midnight Sun about Edward's version of twilight anyway..?

    There could also be a movie about lea will she ever imprint I am 56 and have all the movies and have read the books over & over again  there is alot more to write

    I think she should finish Midnight Sun as a movie! I would so love to see things the way Edward did instead of Bella. Then we would see his dark side and what he was doing when he was gone in New Moon!

    A new book could have Jacob and Renesmee's relationship as well as the Volturi trying to repeat how Nessie was created. If they start trying to impregnate human women (obviously they won't care if the women die) to create an army of half-breeds like Nessie and the ones from the Amazon that Alice discovered, then the Cullens would have to do something to stop the Volturi. Please, please, more Twilight! Stephanie is a good enough author not to overdo it.

    would love to see a movie about the Volturi, and maybe about the time that Carlisle spent with them; also Jake and Reneseme, and how Bella is adjusting to vamp life and how she copes with Jacob being imprinted on her daughter…..PLEASE finish Midnight Sun….going insane waiting and hoping!

    She has painted a world in which if she wanted to could go any number of ways.  She has to feel right about the story though and she just isn't feeling it.  maybe in a few years after everything has died down some she will come back to these characters.  I don't think anything has been left out about any of the characters, Stephenie has made the information readily available to anyone.

    I preferred 'Midnight Sun' to 'Twilight'.  Edward's narration was more intriguing to me.  If and when she is ready she should finish off MS.

    I would really love to see more twilight movies and book come out can't get enf….I just love them alll…..so I think I talk. For a lot when I say plz plz open the book back up and start wirting more so ther will be more movies just love it allll……

     We all love the story you have created here in Finland! really looking forward the last part. ofcourse it would be great if you would write another,but it needs to come from your desire not from puplic demand.  Fingers cross tha some day you will feel the desire to write more about these characters =) Hopping that you and you loveones will have the best summer ever! and thank you for this story,from the bottom of my heart,its breathtaking and consuming.
