I think she'll be perfect as a teenage Renesmee. To those concerned about how Jacob will look at her as a toddler, etc. I can understand your confusion, but as a parent I can tell you, the way you look at a child and the love and devotion is totally different from any other love you can think of. Yes, in terms of the imprint it will change over time for him, and obviously he's not related to the child, but it's not that different in how he feels about her. He's not "in love" with a toddler. He doesn't see her like that at all. When she's young, he only sees her as a big brother would see his little sister, but with a much more intense feeling- more like the love and devotion a parent has. I can promise you, there is nothing like the love a parent has for a child. Stephenie is a Mom and obviously gets that, but a lot of her readers are kids themselves, or don't have children of their own. I don't think you ever really understand the different types of love until you have your own children. Then it's like, Bam, there you go. You would do anything for your child. Your life is not about "you" any more. I think that's the relationship Jacob has with Nessie to begin with. We never see him get out of that in the book, but I kind of like the idea of a flash-forward to see how they are later on. Would make for a good spin-off too ;)

I hope they cover some of that skin she is showing because that is NOT what Renesemee is supposed to look like. just sayying.

no, way she so doesnt suit being edwards and bella's child, i mean she doesnt cut it. in the book it says shes supose to be really beatiful! she's not. and she doesnt suit the role no way! they need to look for someone else!! and fast!

I always wanted for Stephanie to do another book about Jacob and Renesmee story. I think the fast foward, if done properly, will be just fine for those like me. I just wish they would've picked someone else. Plus, I still want her to make the book so bad for us Team Jacob fans.

If anyone here is a TRUE twilight saga fan.. and i know many are by the posts i read daily.. you will know how grossly violated the books have been treated via the movies. I know they cannot cram 500 pages into 2 hours, but my point is they went through the trouble of incorprating vital scenes and then butchering the scenes.. in Eclipse when Bella proclaims she is " Switzerland" the book it was meaningful, in the movie it was corny, then again i am not a fan of kristen stewart, with that said... Breaking Dawn is the last book as of now (i hold out hope stephanie will put out midnight sun) and they will destroy the last movie as well... ie.. fight scene in Volterra in New Moon that never existed in the book.. keep the theatrics out, and still to the book is all i ask for.. and i see i am asking for alot ...

Hate to say this but there wasn't any flash forwards for Jacob in the books so why put it in the movie, they should be sticking to the book not extending it. Be true to how the book was written and be true Stephaine. Don't go changing her book the ending should stay as Bella showing Edward everything she remembers.

I happen to think she looks nice, and as for innocent......well she doesn't look like a slut and there are tons of things they can do with make-up people. Mostly I wonder why they even need a older Nessie? I mean there's no flash-forward in the book, and I know some people need the visual but please if it's not in the book we don't need it in the movie. Though my problems with Bella will never end I love the other characters enough to be sad at the end of these movies.
