Kellan Lutz’s New Years Resolution

First off, Lutz, 25, hopes to spend a little more face-time with his family this year.

“I don’t have too much down time, which is a good thing,” he told PEOPLE at the Grand Opening of The Cosmopolitan and Marquee Las Vegas Nightclub on New Year’s Eve. “I was in Arizona, and I got to spend time with my five brothers – that hasn’t happened in years.”

And though he’s known for his chiseled chest and hot beach body, his other goal for 2011 is to be even more disciplined: “I want to eat better,” he says.

So what are his food vices? “I keep saying I want to quit candy, and I slowly digress [to increase] the candy intake,” he says. “I eat late at night all the time, and I want to cut that back – and get more sleep. I live right across from Jack in the Box, so that’s not good.”

    he is the middle child of 9 sibs. he also has 3 sisters. and too much junk food intake isn't good for anyone belive me i know, but oh well. he has better resolve than i do. i don't even like to excercise. HA. good for him and his hotness

    WOW! Five brothers....
    Thats quite a lot! I have one brother, and thats enough!
    Ahh, why should Kellan cut down on the candy, he isn't fat! All muscle, and he shouldn't really, because you should have candy or 'junk food' every once in a while. But I do see his point, if he wants to keep fit and healthy, and maybe he needs to loose more weight to play Emmett?

    It's not the show or anyone else saying he needs to quit candy, that's his own personal choice. Good on him for doing it. He isn't fat, but Candy and Junk food all the time at night isn't good for you! Go Kellan!
