Ty Olsson to play Renee’s husband Phil in ‘Breaking Dawn’

Previously announced Breaking Dawn cast-member Ty Olsson had not been tied to a specific character the last we heard. Now we can confirm straight from Summit Entertainment that Ty will be playing Phil Dwyer, Reneé’s husband and Bella’s step-father.

While Phil was seen in the original Twilight, he was played by another actor (Matt Bushel).  Ty will be taking over the role for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

    This guy is too buff for Jenks. I think he kinda has the face for Jenks but Jenks has to look more.. weak? I guess. Lol idk. I definitely have to re-read BD

    I alway pictured Jenks as an older, professional, weasley, kinda-chunky sneak…who means well and is terrified of Jasper…lol

    Yea maybe,, I think it is the face,,, looks like he could be up to some dodgy deals,, But i think thats why i love books, no two people will imagien the same person

    yeah, but Phil doesnt really have a part in Breaking Dawn… except maybe a tiny bit at the wedding…

    I've always wondered why Jenks was so afraid of Jasper.
    I discussed this with my friend but it's too inappropriate. Lol
    I'm done with finals so now I can finally re-read some BD. :D
