I remember my 2nd 8th grade year when twilight came out to theaters over the weekend, the week of school after EVERYONE i mean EVERYONE was talking about it,carrying the books in their hands etc. So i was like hmm i wonder what all thiis hoopla is about. So the movie was on it's waay out of theaters cause its been like a couple weeks so i decided to pick up the book, i remember being so excited to read it and when i did it was the best book ive ever read, then i just bought the rest of the series. I rememeber reading breaking dawn slow cause i didn't wanna finsih it lol. I mean when twilight hit theaters it was like madness, everyone was obssed and everyone is still obsssed. This is going to go down in history, 40 years from now were all going to be telling our kids about this amazing thing. LOVW TWILIGHT ALWAYS AND FOREVER!(:

i found twilight in the library in my town in 2007, i had never heard of it before, i think this was before the huge popularity wave started, i know it was before eclipse came out cuz i remember waiting for the release date. i read it and loved it instantly. after that i bought it and new moon and when eclipse came out i bought that too. ive been a twilighter ever since :D

I didn't know why a lot of people liked the idea of a vampire book. I asked for the Twilight book from my friend about one and a half years ago and I read the first few chapters and I really didn't like it. Then a couple of weeks ago, I saw it in my local library and I thought, 'Why not take the books?' So I brought Twilight and New Moon. I read the first few chapters and I remembered that I had read it one and a half years ago. I started getting into it. I thought, 'This book has changed my life!' I am so glad that I picked it up. I really like it because it has A LOT of romance in it and I love romance! It wasn't just about fighting and vampires and werewolves. Then after I had read one book, I bought the movie and started watching them. I still have to read Breaking Dawn, and then I can watch the movie. I will definitely be reading the books again and again!

I would like to contact someone who looves Twilight. I would like to know how do you deeply feel about it... Is there anywhere in the world somebody like me?

i used to think twilight was really stupid actually!!! then when i was at the local library and could not find a book i was interested in, i picked up twilight and and flipped through it and thought this book might actually be pretty good, so i got it and read it in like 2 days then i made my brother buy new moon and i read it then eclipse then breaking dawn!!! haha i was hooked!! and at fist i was team jacob b4 i read the books then i became team edward and then after new moon i was team jacob again!!! and still am!!!!

After the Harry Potter series, I could no be bothered with getting involved with a whole other series and besides - vampires! come on! Well who fooled me! After not being able to find anything else interesting to watch on cable a couple of weeks ago, I decided to tune into Twilight. Thought it was a "good" show, and remembered that I had bought the book for my son (who never got past the first few pages, thank goodness), so I decided to read it. Within a week, I had finished all four books plus watched all the movies. I just cannot get enough of this whole saga and wonder what I ever did before I found them. I am well and truely robsessed with the whole thing. My family think I have gone crazy, but it makes me feel warm inside and like others have said - they take you to a happy place. I hope Stephanie Meyers continues in some form - I cannot wait for her to finish Midnight Sun.

i was introduced to Twilight a few summers ago. my 13 year old daughter was talking about the books so i read twilight or a few pages at first. When she was finished then i started to read it but i went out and bought them all before i read them because when i started i never put them down til i had read them all and that summer i read them 6 or 7 times. now she is tormenting me about being obessed with Twilighti am 40 years old and i am just like a kid when it comes to Twilight because i have the posters all over my bedroom and the books and that is usually what i ask the girls for, on my birthday or christmas i even let my friends know thats what i want and they get it for me. would have liked to have the credit card and the pepsi cans but they are only in the states and i live in newfoundland not available here

it was after twilight. my friend told me that the book was alot beter then the movie. so i read it and loved and now i cant stop reading! i useto hate reading lol

I'm 53 years old and I was introduced to Twilight by a friend of the same age. I never liked vampire fiction either, but I thought I would try it. As soon as I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. Between work, etc. I read it in a week. I couldn’t wait to read the other four books finishing each sooner. I even went without sleep just to see what happened.

Stephanie Meyer is an amazing author. These books are perfect for the young reader. I believe the reason I like the books so much is that they take me back to when I first feel in love, and even though there are difficulties and obstacles in life you learn that love will get you through them. Love is forever.

My teenage daughter read Twilight. Since she knows I love all things Vampire she lent me the book. "Here Mom, a vampire romance story. You'll love it." She was right! I'm a WAY bigger fan than she is...I'm 59.

I was going on a canal boat holiday and wanted something more than a mag to read. I saw Twilight in a book shop. I bought it bcoz I liked the cover and I love vampires...probably not the best reasons to buy a book. I couldnt get my nose out of the book...I had to wait until we got to the next town be4 I could buy the rest of the series. I read all 4 within a month....dont think I talked to any1 for that month either. :0)

I actually refused to read them when they first came out. I had a dream one night and was speaking to a friend who had read them, She told me that my dream was an exact match to the ending. After months of still refusing to read them I caved. I read all 4 books plus the midnight sun excerpt in 3 days!!! My husband was not too happy. It is an amazing story, I love the characters(Although I don't like Kristen as Bella). I can't wait for the Breaking Dawn movie, I just hope they don't screw it up :)

I got into the books right around the time of the first movie! All my friends had been talking about it and saying stuff like "real men sparkle" and having team wars with each other, and I was really confused! I never read, like at all, let alone a series! So by that time I really didn't care about even attenpting to read them! But my best friend was pestering and pushing the books on me, so one day she was over and she had brought Twilight over and left it at my house to read. By this time I had already seen the trailers for Twilight so I knew that he was a vampire and that towards the beginning she almost gets hit by a van and such! So I reluctantly sat down to read it later that evening and I couldn't stop! I was so surprised at how I could put it down! I read twilight i2 days and then bought new moon and read it in 2 days and then bought eclipse and read it in 4 days and breaking awn in 8 or 9 days! I was up in my room everyday reading nonstop, if i had to chose between reading or getting my homework done, the choice was clear! But hey, at least I was reading!

I have a friend in New Zealand who told me she had gone to see this new movie out called Twilight, I can't stand anything to do with vampires so I didn't take much notice, but she kept going on and on about Twilight, how many times she had seen it and read each of the books, I thought, ok, I'll go to the movies and check it out, if i don't like it I'll walk out and no harm done... I saw the movie, after that I was hooked, I went out and brought all the books and I read them all within 3 weeks, and by that time I had been to the movies to see twilight 14 times... I've read the series 3 times and have started rereading it again... I have heaps of copys of twilight and new moon just in case on of the dvd's gets scratched.. lol I'm so looking forward to Eclipse DVD release in December, guess who will be having a Twilight movie marathon... ME :-D

my sister told me about the books in june of '08, but i didn't read them 'til may of '09 when a friend recommended them as well. i borrowed my friend's copy of twilight, then went out and bought all of the books a few days later. read them all in about a week, maybe a bit more, and have been hooked ever since. i can't remember the last time i was this obsessed with something for this long! i even made my own t-shirt (digitally printed) with hundreds of my favorite quotes from the first book, and was working on one for new moon as well, but it takes forever! i bought shirts for new moon and eclipse, but might make my own, too! oh...and i'm team edward!

I am ashamed say this, but I was not a fan of the books until spring of 2008. If a time machine existed I would go back in time and read the Twilight series when I first heard about them because these books have really made reading something I love to do now. I actually heard about the books right after New Moon came out in 2006, but I did not read them because I hated reading back then. Funny story I was a junior in high school and I was spending the night at my best friend’s house. I stayed up all night watching movies while my best friend read New Moon. I thought she was crazy, why she would rather read a book than hang out with her friend. Then in the spring of 2008 my sister came back home for spring break and told me that I had to read this book called Twilight. Once again I thought “who wants to read a book?” but she was so into it her background on her phone was the Twilight book cover. Finally after so many days of her saying “you have to read this book” I picked it up and read it in three days which was crazy for me. I had never read a book that fast and actually I had never really finished a book for enjoyment. It was all done hill from there. I read New Moon and Eclipse within a week and then had to wait till August to get to read Breaking Dawn. I really have to thank Stephenie Myers for writing these books because I believe that they really have changed my life. I was a person who hated any kind of reading and always thought watching television or doing something else was better use of my time. Since reading the Twilight Series I have read so many other books just for fun. I have even read all the Harry Potter books in six weeks which was a real record for me. Reading the Twilight Series has opened up a new world for me I no longer spend my days watching television, but instead I find reading more enjoyable. I have read more books in the last three years than I have in my whole life. Thank you Stephenie Myers for writing these books that has opened a new world of reading for me.

I was introduced by Twilight one night I was at my friend for a night and she decided to watch Twilight because she was madly in love with Edward. So we watched half of it and watched the rest in the morning but it was hard wondering what happened. After I first watched it I fell in love, immediately!! At first I thought that Edward was pretty ugly and creepy but now I've totally changed, I'm deeply in love with Edward and Robert Pattinson. Thanks Hanni! <3

I was introduced to Twilight almost the same, my cousin just read them over and over again, and I tought that Rob was horrible, read the first chapter and my mom took me away and didnt know much about the other characters, but then the school took us to watch the premiere of Twilighgt, and suddenly I saw Rob, watching him as Ed. changes everything and makes you see him perfect as Rob, and then you knew everything about everyone and made Twilight my new world, everyone says Im so obssesed, especially my cousin, but WHO CARES!! hahaha, just Love Twilight!!!!!!!!!!!! Thaks to my cousin.

I am a HUGH Twilight fan, I see the movies first and then I read the books, since most everything from the book is in the movie, its great because the book gives me the details on the scenes from the movie. I love both movies and books,
