Taylor Lautner on Jacob Black vs Edward Cullen

Taylor Lautner is glad that Twilight characters Jacob Black and Edward Cullen connect with each other in the new movie.

The werewolf and the vampire, played by Taylor and Robert Pattinson, 24, put their differences aside in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and join forces.

‘Jacob hated Edward with a passion, but now they are forced to team up,’ says Taylor, 18.

â€˜We have a moment where I have to hate and understand him at the same time.

â€˜It’s the first moment where we’re able to connect.’

The rivals team up to protect the woman at the centre of their love triangle – Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart).

â€˜As much as we hate each other, we kinda respect each other,’ says Taylor, 18. ‘We go: “Let’s put this all aside and fight for Bella.”‘

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has received 17 nominations for the Teen Choice Awards on 8 August.

It's a great book series, a great movie series, and ALL of the actors and actresses did a great job!!! I do however have a fave actor,...Taylor Lautner...like I've already said, a sweetheart!!! But I don't hate on anybody else...I think Rob, Kristen and a lot of the others are VERY funny...and seem very nice!!! Love Twilight and the people who brought it to life for "us!" THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS ALL HAPPEN!!!

Team Edward! Take it from me; I'm the biggest Twerd you'll encounter. (And I don't mean in physical size. . .haha.) I based my choice of team entirely on the books. I prefer Taylor to Rob, but Edward is wayyyy better then Jacob, his personality and maturity. (Although he's over 100 years old, that offers him the upperhand in maturity.) Hahaha, I am uncondionally and irrevocably in lovve with Edward!!
