omg! the kids choice awards were terrible!!!! i dont understand how stupid Alvin & the Chipmunks gets an award over New Moon!!!! i mean like really pple in what world dose that make any cence?!?!?!? uhgg & how dose Diery of a wimpy kid get best series when clearly Twailight is a zillion times better!!!!! what is wrong with today's world?!?!?!?!

Who the hell wouldn't choose a good romance/drama/adventure movie like New Moon over a movie about friggin singing CHIPMUNKS?! this is so so SO sad!
My little brother is always going on about chipmunks this and that (though he is only 6) it's sooo annoying and ive seen both the movies so many times i've learned to hate it and this just made me hate it even more!
Who really care what the kids choice awards say anyway? I mean Twilight is so above awards like that.

If you think of it, In New Moon, Jacob and Bella were cute, because well edward wasn't there, but Dating! No, no, no, not Jacob and Bella, that's Edward!

Maybe Jacob and Bella won because Edward didn't appear that much in the movie. Even if they're just friends, it doesn't mean they aren't a couple.. They are two people, so it means a COUPLE... the word "couple" doesn't have to be: boyfriend and girlfriend.
I don't have a team, so maybe it is because of it that I don't care?

I see Jacob and Bella as a couple of friends.. It still means that theyARE a couple..

PS. Just because Alvin and the Chipmuks won over New Moon, it doesn't mean that you should hate the move.. It's kids choice awards, not TEEN choice awards. If it WAS teen choice awards, don't you think New Moon would have won over Alvin and the Chipmunks? and edward over jacob?

i think the only reason the twilight saga and new moon loss was because kids cant watch PG13 movies and probably their parents wont want them to read twilight for some obvious reasons. but the only thing that made it a little better was that taylor lautner won :) and jesse mccartney was their for alvin and the chipmunks :) but still, they should have won. and i think edward and bella would be a better choice but i think jacob and bella won because these kids like taylor lautner more than robert pattinson. ok im done, bye.

YAY..TWILIGHT DIDNT WIN-FINALLY SOME AWARD SHOW UNDERSTANDS THAT TWILIGHT IS THE STUPIDEST MOVIE WITH NO GOOD PLOT AND BAD ACTING/DIRECTING! THEY LOST BEST BOOK TO DIARY OF THE WIMPY KID too AND BEST MOVIE TO ALVIN AND THE CHIMPMUNKS...I COULD NEVER AGREE MORE! BELLA AND EDWARD CANT ACT! THE DIRECTOR IS SUCKISH! AND THE BOOK'S PLOT WAS MADE UP AS THE BOOK WAS WRITTEN! WOOO! FINALLY, THEY DIDNT WIN! BUT SOMETHING THAT DESERVES MORE SPOTLIGHT IS HARRY POTTER. AT LEAST THERE PLOT WAS PLANNED OUT FOR 5 YEARS. AND THE ACTORS CAN ACT LIKE THERE ACTUALLY THE CHARACTERS IN REAL LIFE! AND THE DIRECTOR IS WONDERFUL CUZ HE MAKES THE MOVIE MAGNIFICENT! SO ..HA-TO YOU TWILIGHT LOSERS! Do any of you realize this is a KIDS award show? 1. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is more of a KIDS series and something they can relate to. Plus, boys AND girls read it. I'm not sure how many of your 6-14 year old sons would be reading Twilight to begin with. 2. Same thing goes for Alvin and the Chipmunks. "Fun for the WHOLE family." 3. I'm also not sure how many of you understand why Jacob and Bella were "cutest couple". Remember being a KID? Your best guy friend was the guy you had a crush on? Most KIDS don't understand Edward and Bella's relationship to begin with, let alone want something like that at this point in their lives. Again. KIDS award show. It amuses me how many people are getting upset over this. Really? A bunch of kids vote on stuff THEY like. All this does it tell companies what to market MORE of in the future. And, if you're voting for people on a KIDS award show, really, stop and think about that for a second: spending time voting on a kids award show because you'll be so upset if Twilight doesn't win an award because kids actually like something different? Some people surprise me. No, I take that back. But, it's depressing that so many people who are not under the age of 15 or 16 would be upset by this. As much as I love the books and wish it was otherwise, with every other fan out there, it's a book. It's not reality. Sometimes people need to stop treating things like they are. Taylor Lautner won an award because he's hot, and a good actor. When you're a young teenage girl, what else do you think of besides the fact that the actor is "pretty"? If you're actually judging the acting when you vote, that makes you different from the vast majority. So, again. It's a kids show. Chill out, people.

First, you need to cool down. People here can write however they want to, spellchecking or not okay. And kids probably voted for jacob because most boys only saw the movie and they thought that jacob was very cool so they voted for something that Taylor was included in or because maybe they didn't see enough of edward. And they did not vote for Taylor becuase he's a good actor...these are little 6-12 year olds here. you should lighten up for some fans here.

I'm a kid - age 10. I understand what the kid's mind have - cute stuff - childish acts - and more. I knew why they voted for it - because they understand it better than the teens. Think about it - if you're a teen try to read Diary of A Wimpy Kid - you can't understand it well, because the book is really for children. Me? I'm a kid but I understand Twilight so good! I, voted for Twilight Series, Edward and Bella and New Moon but I don't know why people just say that it's bad... it's a Kid's Choice Awards and not a Teen's Choice Awards.

The Exceptions of why kids voted for it:
1. Kids understand the "Diary of A Wimpy Kid" better than "Twilight" because it's suited for them.
2. The Kids chose Jacob and Bella because some kids do not understand the real passion for love.
3. They also voted for Alvin and the Chipmunks because it's a movie that all ages can watch, you know... for the whole family.
4. It's a Kid's Choice Awards, not a Teen's Choice Awards.

It doesnt matter if its kids choice, because alot of older people that used to be kids when the awards first started (such as myself) they still watch and vote. [Ah remember the days back in the 90's with britney and n'synqe at the awards lol]

Kids are as powerful as they want to be, my 3 little sisters all love twilight and have read the first 2 books (none of the others because they arnt exactly suitable for youngins) and understand the relationships.

but then again its really funny because my youngest sister who is seven said that she wanted "edward and bella" because dogs (being jacob) lick their butts and she wouldnt want to kiss him. ! just a funny little tibit! - thats the sort of funny stuff that kids think of and vote for the other! so thats obviously not the case.

and also about Alvin and the chipmunks, alot of people inc kids and familys said the movie wasnt very good, because it wasnt! the story line was bad and it was no where near as good as the first. the voice's wernt even the same. so its kinda lame. no offence hun.

Um. "That's what the saga is all about." Not exactly. In case you forgot, there's a NICE chunk of Breaking Dawn that's specifically about Jacob, so he IS important to the story, too. In fact, I do believe in Eclipse, Bella realizes that had Edward never existed in her life that Jacob was right. He was her soul mate and her match in every way. And she did love him. Funny that you say the entire series is about Edward and Bella when, in fact, the relationship between Jacob and Bella, and what it becomes, her "saving grace", in fact, is just as equally important.

And about New Moon not losing to any other nominees, again, KIDS SHOW. Chill out and get over it. More kids like Alvin and the Chipmunks and other things, like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, that they can relate to and that's geared towards them. This is a KIDS show, not a teenager show (which would account for Vampire Diaries losing) or an ADULT show. Kids show. And, I'm sure you don't have kids, or you'd understand it. Then again, if you had kids, you wouldn't be talking about how all of their brains are fried these days, either...

Umm...the whole story is Edward and Bella's life.....not Edward and Bella and a part of Jacob's life . In genreal IT IS edward and bella all the way.

Thats what I said and she got all "Team Jacob" on me lol - But it is true, the story IS all about Edward and Bella, Jacob may have a pov in the breaking dawn, but his still just another speed bump in Edward and Bella's relationship.

The story is all about Bella and Edwards relationship, the ups and downs and of course them being vampires. Jacob only comes in to effect their relationship - not to win her over.
