Summit: No second ‘Eclipse’ trailer just yet

For those of you that weren’t quite satisfied with the Eclipse trailer we got this last week, you may have to wait a while for the next one!  Gossip Cop has confirmed with Summit that they don’t have immediate plans for the release of another trailer, although fans will eventually get one.

After the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse debuted yesterday, we got a lot of questions about whether a second, longer version was already planned for release.

Gossip Cop spoke with a rep for Summit Entertainment who told us there will (of course) be a new trailer at some point, but right now there’s “no talk… nothing in the works.”

So it looks like Twilight fans will have to make do for now with the trailer being shown before Remember Me this weekend… and, of course, YouTube, where nearly 5 million people have already watched yesterday’s release.

    i think they should release just one more, that way im fully satisfied until the movie comes out.....
    one more wont hurt, it all depends on what they put into the trailer..

    I gotta agree. There were too many New Moon trailers and clips released last year. But it was my choice to watch all of them, so I can't blame anyone but myself. So SUMMIT, since I don't have the strength to resist, let me just say, way to go if you decide not to release another Eclipse trailer

    i would also like 2 wait unit eclipse comes out in cinema as i felt that the new moon trailers kinda ruined the enjoyment of the film

    In Greece, where I live, the Eclipse trailer isn't shown before Remember me! I went to watch it yesterday (it was AWSOME!!!), but there was no trailer... :(

    Awwww:( i want another trailer, can't get enough Eclipse:D Ah well I guess we'll just have to watch New Moon over and over and over...

    LOL No, I'm only joking but I was TOTALLY hoping for a second trailer. Considering the huge amount of things they released due to New Moon, I was expecting something more action-y and more Edward. Oh, well, Have to wait :'(

    I understand why though, with all the stuff they put out with new moon, it kinda ruined the surprise a bit.... oh well, i can't wait to see eclipse!!

  • As much of a fan i am, and i am super excited to see eclipse, i think that summit shouldnt release another trailer. we have seen some of it and we dont need to see anymore until we go and watch it on its release date, i think we saw too much of new moon and it kinda ruined it for me because i wasnt like :O .. because i had seen it so many times ( from where i watched the trailer) so summit: give us somthing to look forward to..

    I'm confused... I thought they said there was going to be another eclipse trailer on the walmart version of the new moon dvd??

    Walmart is releasing the New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition, which is suppose to have a 7 minute behind the scenes look at Eclipse.
