Would Kristen be up for hosting SNL?

E! Online’s Marc Malkin asked Kristen if she would be interested in hosting Saturday Night Live.  Here is what she said in response.

“They haven’t asked me to do it,” Stewart said, while hanging out in a suite at L.A.’s Luxe Hotel, where she’s been promoting her new rock n’ roll flick, The Runaways.

Even so, would she do it?

“I would love to say yes for sure, but that is really really scary,” she said. “I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show. It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny—next!’”

One thing she’d totally say yes to is a…romantic comedy! But don’t ask her to name any potential love interest costars. “I don’t know, man,” she said, laughing. “I would want to do it with some cool, unassuming random actor.”

    She already did a Romantic-Comedy, and I thought it was great; Adventurland. . .? I think that she is such a versatile actor she could pull off anything.

    Kristen please don't do a romantic comedy! We all love the way you are going with your career and all respect you for it! Girls in romantic comedies, in my opinion, are just horrible actors that couldn't get a break in any other genre, except for the rare exception like Saundra Bullock! she's amazing! But we all love you Kristen, and we'll respect your choice, but we'd prefer you stick with what we all love you in! :)

    No, no, no! No SNL and no romantic comedy.... you're such a great actress so PLEASE go on with playing roles in great movies like The Twilight Saga and The Runaways ... :)

    Please please please Kristen, don't do a romantic comedy... we like you for the way you are, and for the movie choices you make... (all those heavy dramas). I'm all for changing and trying new things, but really... romantic comedy?
