Rob and Simon Cowell to team up for record deal?

Something smells off on the latest Rob Pattinson rumor, but if it were to actually happen I would be quite happy! Rumor is that Simon Cowell has approached Rob with a record deal.

TWILIGHT fans are such an excitable bunch I’m wary of even letting this out the bag for fear of the hysteria it will unleash.

But here we go… ROBERT PATTINSON has been approached by SIMON COWELL to sign a major record deal.

The young actor has been told he can basically write his own cheque.

To make things even sweeter for Robert, other record companies have got wind of the offer and a bidding war has broken out.

I wouldn’t get too excited guys. Even if it is true that Simon approached Rob, that doesn’t mean he would do it.

Rob i think you deserve a chance at this and even if it doesn't work at least you tried doing something for yourself. anyway Simon Cowell is good and a billion year so ya good money there buy......!!!!!!!! Go do it and sell for money if mot for yourself for every poor country in the world. I dink you should do it.

this was in the Sun on saturday, Robs not too sure if he wants to do it because of Simons association with the x-factor and he thinks that he'll be made into 'just another pop act'. rob cares about his music and honestly i think simon cowell will riun that because all he's doing is leeching onto the twilight endemic.
i dont think he should go with simon, if he was to sign a record deal he should wait for someone who will let him still be his own singer/songwriter.

Simon Cowell announced that he wants to make an album to raise money for Haiti relief. I wonder if he asked Rob to do something on the album, and that is where this story came from. I think that would be wonderful!!! I highly doubt that Rob would sign a record deal with anyone at this stage of the game. He is too involved with the acting thing right now. He has said it before, that the music is too personal and to important to throw around and then be cast aside as one of 'those actors who sing'. Stay true to you, my friend.

Simon Cowell is a person who voice out whatever he wants to say. I know a lot of people dont like him but I watch American Idol. It will be dull show without him. I will support Rob if he wants to get a record deal. He is such a talented person.

It doesn't really sound like Rob to me. Getting a record deal, do an album.. I think he's more in to singing at local bars and things like that. :) just my opinion!

i doubt he will sign the deal, even if one exists. he already said before that he didn't want to be 'that guy' that would capatilize on his fame to make a record, even if he is very talented. i think robs personaility and music are more suited for an indie label, not a mega label like simon cowells.

rob is a smart guy and knows what he wants. if he does decide to sign a record deal, as a fan i fully support him and his projects, i'll be happy for him :) so you go rob! do what's best :)

I highly doubt there is any truth to this at all but I would be fine with it if it were. I have no problems with Simon at all. He's harsh, he's honest, he calls 'em as he sees 'em. I respect that.

why is it such a problem?? simon is the biggest person in the bussiness and make sure everything is done right and like rob own ream woud let him do anything they didnt think was good and like he would quit twilight he is on a contract he cant leave even if he wanted to
