I walked out of the theatre Saturday night a little disappointed. I wanted intensity, like there was in Twilight, but New Moon fell a little short. Everyone bashes Twilight's director, but I have a new found respect for her. She captured Edward and Bella's intense relationship perfectly. The reason why I loved the book New Moon, was because we got to know Jacob and the intense feelings he felt for Bella, knowing he was not her first choice. They touched on this in the movie, but I wanted more. Also, Edward was practically in half the movie...not like the book. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? I know it is hard to pack everything into a 2ish hour long movie, but still. New Moon was pretty good, but honestly, Twilight was better!
