I think you can be a true Twilight fan without reading the books first before seeing the movies. I am different than most fans because I am waiting to read each book until after I see each movie. I am doing this because I know the books will be better than the movies (most books are) because there can always be more details in a book than they have time to put in a movie! So I don't want to be even a little bit disappointed when I see any of the movies, so I am going to see each movie first, and then read the book. I see so many fans posting that the book New Moon was so much better than the movie, and I don't want to feel that way when I see each movie. I saw New Moon at the midnight showing, and I thought it was awesome! I loved it!! I disagree with Kallie.
