Tell me what your favorite song on the New Moon soundtrack is! And sound off about why in the comments.


I’ll kick this off. My favorite is Lykke Li’s “Possibility.”  It is haunting and sad and I can’t get it out of my head!

    My favorite is Shooting the Moon by OK Go. It has the perfect tempo, it's catchy, and it's not trying too hard to be indie. It will go perfectly with whatever scene it will be featured in.

    But I also like Possibility, I Belong to You, and The Meadow. :)

    I am in love with Lykke Li's Possibility. It's beautiful and the lyrics and music are perfect for the mood of New Moon. I close my eyes and can totally see Bella crumbling.

    All the songs are great! My fav is Meet Me on the Equinox. I love Death Cab, but I will be buying all the songs. :) I'm really liking that Band of Skulls too.

    This is a much better soundtrack than Twilight, and I can hardly wait to see what Eclipse will bring!

    'i belong to you' or 'new moon (the meadow)'.
    muse were great on both soundtracks, and the meadow is so beautiful, its like nearly as amazing as bellas lullaby..

    atm, i still prefer twilights soundtrack to new moons, but ill just have to listen a few times.. like tbh, i didnt actually like the twilight soundtrack straight away, but after listening loads of times, it became one of my fave albums :)

    I cannot wait for the Score to come out!! :) I hate that it comes out AFTER the movie does though… :(

    My favorite so far is Possibility! It's one of those songs that really tears your heart out….makes me want to cry my eyes out…….but I love it! I can really see why they picked this song! It fits the story perfectly!!

    I love the muse song on the soundtrack. I am a big muse fan and love the arrangement they did for new moon. But I also really love Meet me on the Equinox. LOVE IT!

    i have many favourites but muse is on top in my list, followed by Death Cab for Cutie and piano (the meadows)

    “Possibility” by Lykee Li is my favorite next to “Satellite Heart” off the soundtrack. “I agree, “Possiblility” is haunting and sad. It's also very honest and striking with a bitter sweet feel to it.

    Besides Meet me on the Eqinox, I really liked Muse and Band of Skulls… I like the soundtrack but i do think it'll need to grow on me.

    i like all the others but those are my favs. i like the monsters song too its cute lol

    wow… as I picked out my favorite song, I expected it to be on top, but obvisouly European music taste is completely different… I love the song “No Sound But The Wind” from EDITORS. The voice is so fantastic! I liked the song the first time I heard it. The new piano play of Alexandre Desplat is wonderful! Roslyn is also cool and heartbreaking.
    I don't like “Meet Me on The Equinox” – I can't understand why this song should be on top?? It's kind of boring…
    I'm looking forward to the film, then you've the scene of the film in your head and like the songs even more. Niki from Austria
