Katie Holmes told Elle magazine (on which she is this month’s cover girl) that she loves the vampire stories.

The actress, 30, fesses up to Elle in its November issue that she can find love in her heart for Hollywood’s current vampire fad, so long as the characters are well written.

“I even like vampire movies – they just have to be well done,” she says. “I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”

On the other hand, Jamie Foxx is not so into vampires. And is definitely not interested in playing one.

We asked the Oscar winner at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre premiere of his new flick, Law Abiding Citizen, if he’d ever consider jumping on the vamp bandwagon and playing one helluva sexy fanger, on TV or in the movies.

I mean, after all, do you all have any idea the impressive number of romantic partners this sometimes-smarmy lover sinks his pearlies into? So what was Jamie’s comeback, you ask?

“Vampire? No. No. No.”

Uh, would one “no” have sufficed, do you think?

Fine, then, Jamie. We don’t want you, either!
