I Don't like Rob Pattinson as Edward, at all, he will never be Edward to me. I think Chace Crawford would be a good Edward.
Taylor Lautner is Perfect for Jacob, I would never want to change that.
Alexis Bledel Would be a PERFECT Bella, I can't stand Kristen Stewart as Bella, she's a good actress, but I can't claim her as Bella, I tried, she just isn't her.

emma watts or the junno girl would have done it okay but i realy thing after seeing jacob , Edward is not good looking enough because hes not meant to be better

I definately like kristen stuart but like they said if she chose not to take on the role of bella for some reason, I think Alexis blendel would be a really good fit. I loved her on gilmore girls and she was pretty good in sisterhood of the traveling pants and she definately looks like a bella

OF COURSE I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BELLA BUT NOT WHEN SHE IS PLAYED BY KRISTEN.

Same for rob, he would alway make really weird, scary faces and thre were always awkward pauses, etc.

I LOVE taylor and i think they did an AMAZING job playing Jacob

i think kristen was so perfect for the part she seems nervous but that is bella the book bella none of thoes people could be bella and the conection between bella and eward is great i think if it was someone else you wouldnt get that crave for twilight kristen is bella !!!!!!!

I LOVE Kristen. I was so mad when I first heard that they were casting her, but after seeing her she is perfect. When I was reading the books I did not picture her like that at all, but now I see that she looks the part too. While Kristen is absolutely georgeous most of the time, without as much make-up in the movie she just looks 'ordinary' Perfect for Bella. The austrailian actress (forgot her name) would be good too, but not sure about how she looks....she too pretty I think. Evan Rachel Wood might have done good--I've seen her in Across the Universe, and she seemed Bella enough. But I LOVE Kristen. (BTW, Alexis Bledel could NEVER be Bella. Not ever. Love her, but she is not a Bella.)
Jacob--
A world without Taylor as Jacob....shudder....I cannot even think about that.
That Kopon guy seems kinda full of himself, don't he? ("I could bring so much to the character") Steven Straight would have been okaaaaay....but guys! Jacob is SIXTEEEN! Why would you even consider casting 26 year old people as Jake?

Thats soo hard because i love taylor n kristen but if I hade to pick I would pick steven strait for jacob n emma watson for bella. But I would NEVER recast them....this is just for fun!!!!!!xD

I think they picked really good actors! but if bella got recasted I would definitely pick Alexis Bledel! even if she is much older she could pull it off!

I think Steven Strait would have been a great Jacob, but I also like Lautner. I think for the Twilight and New Moon movie, Strait is too mature looking for those roles. He would be better off playing in Eclipse and BD. Now for Bella, I didn't like any of the choices Clevver TV came up with. I really can't say that Ellen Page girl or Emily Browning. I think Alexis Bledel would have been good but her voice doesn't match Bella's (or how I pictured it when I read the book.)

It would be a dangerous move to recast any of the characters now, but just typical of a new directer/producer.....I for one will not watch the future films if they do a recast!! I agree with the statement above stating its disrespectful to even talk about it!!

well before Twilight movie, i imagine Steven Strait as Jacob, so i been wishing for him to do the role, but when i see Taylor i really loved him! i think he's perfect for the role, charming, strong, he's perfect... but the question is... IF... so if i have to choose another one, it would be Steven =)

I don't have a problem with the actors/actress they picked. I mean there is always going to be someone you think is better for the role in all movies. But if I had my choice for Bella I picked Emily Browning. I think that Taylor is good for Jacob but I would have to say Steven Strait.
