Harvard Lampoon’s Twilight spoof: ‘Nightlight’

The Lexicon reports that Harvard Lampoon is releasing a spoof of Twilight entitled Nightlight: A Parody. Here is the information on the book:

Harvard Universityâ€™s humor and satire magazine has a spoof of Twilight coming out entitled Nightlight. The Harvard Lampoon has been around nearly 300 years and was initially modeled on the British humor magazine Punch. They have done a parody of anything and everything. According to the description on Amazon.com:

â€œAbout three things I was absolutely certain. First, Edwart was most likely my soul mate, maybe. Second, there was a vampire part of himâ€“which I assumed was wildly out of his controlâ€“that wanted me dead. And third, I unconditionally, irrevocably, impenetrably, heterogeneously, gynecologically, and disreputably wished he had kissed me.

don't get me wrong, i like twilight and everything, but they've made such a big deal about it that i'm getting sick of it. this is perfect :) for those hardcore twilight fan with the twilight perfume and the action figures and cardboard cutouts of edward cullen in your room...it's never gonna happen. he's fictional. live!

now i have to admit, i read twilight. and i've never been (and still am not) a vampire fan (werewolves were never my thing either just so thats clear)and full out love stories usually bore me to tears. but i liked it for reasons unknown. thing is, i like making fun of it more! so i am totally going to get this!

I like things like this but No doubt that in a couple of years Twilight will be featured in one of those crappy 'Scary movie' films. Eurgh! :|
