Here are a couple of convention updates. Billy Burke mentioned on his Twitter that he may not make the UK Twilight event taking place in October. I realized I hadn’t ever reported on a convention in October in the UK, so here is what I found. From Massive Events:

Eternal Twilight 2: New Moon Rising is Massive Events’ second 3-day unofficial convention to celebrate the world bestseller book series by author Stephenie Meyer, ‘Twilight’ and the series of films currently in production. This event will be held from Friday 16th – Sunday 18th of October 2009. This unofficial convention aims to bring together fans of the books and movies from all across the world to meet some the stars of the films and enjoy various events over the weekend. There will be activities each day from the usual guest talks and photograph sessions to quizzes and late night themed parties and hopefully some book readings from the cast!! However, it is still up in the air whether Billy will attend. In the past, these conventions have replaced the actors who have had to back out with other Saga actors. So we’ll see.
