Kings of Leon will not appear on New Moon soundtrack

The Examiner has uncovered a blurb from Billboard that reveals that Kings of Leon will NOT be on the New Moon soundtrack. Here is what the Billboard article says:

Kings of Leon are pondering the release of another single for “Only By Night” — Followill is thumping for “Notion” — but will not, as rumored, be contributing anything to the soundtrack for “New Moon,” the second film in the “Twilight” series.

I am a big KoL fan so I am disappointed.

    thats slightly dissapointingg but im sure it will turn out to be just as good or even better than the Twilight Soundtrack (which i lovee !!!) xx
  • That really blows! I loooove them. I wonder if Thom Yorke will still be doing something though, hopefully??

    Awww.... such a bummer...
    I was really hoping for that one. Chris got our hopes up, but i be he did what he could. In interviews it sounded like he was really trying.
    But I bet it'll be awesome anyways, i think it'll be better than the Twilight soundtrack. I liked it but Chris seems to have way better taste in music than Catherine.

    NOOO... thats so sad but thats ok beacause i have a copy of new moon script and reading it and it is soooo AMAZING words cant describe !!!

    Good, I'm glad they're not on the soundtrack, I can't stand them!
    I'm looking forward to seeing what they have chosen, I love the Twilight soundtrack & hopefully the New Moon one will be just as good.
    Only 2 months until we find out :)
