A couple of filmmakers decided to make a documentary about Forks and the Twilight phenomenon, called Twilight in Forks.

“Everybody that’s a fan of ‘Twilight’ has a vision of what Forks is like,” Brown said of the real-life Washington town where Stephenie Meyer set her vampire-romance saga. “In the movie, we get a peek at that. But in fact, they didn’t shoot the ['Twilight'] movie in Forks. So we’ve gone actually out to Forks. And you’ll get a chance to meet some of the real people and see some of the real places that are featured in the story.”

The DVD documentary will be available to the public on October 15.

I think that is the only documentary I will EVER be interested in. I'd like to know when it's comeing to the UK and what channel? I dont wan to have to watch it on YouTube.

We actually went out of our way to travel to Forks and La Push as a side trip to our Oregon vacation. Personally I thought the beach in La Push was more picturesque than that of Cannon Beach where we stayed in Oregon. I loved all the little gift shops selling Twilight stuff and our motel "The Forks Motel" was right in the center of town and just around the corner from the high school. It is such a cute little logging town I highly recommend it. My two kids thought that it was the best part of their vacation. We happened to be there during Quillute Days and so there were lots of Twilighters present. Throughly enjoyable!!

I also live in the pacific northwest... actually very near the Portland metro area... and I am 5 minutes from the high school (outdoor) shots.
I love that this area is getting some much needed publicity -- thanks to Stephanie and her great books! Forks and La Push, Port Angeles and even the area I live in area all getting some added money to the struggling local economy!
As for why they are no longer filming on location... besides the fact that security inhibits a lot of that... but Washington and Oregon raised the taxes and initially this was the deciding factor (from what I have read) for New Moon to go north of the border, cheaper costs, then Oregon and Washington got the message too late and lowered the taxes on filming, but I think the damage was already done!
But the Portland Metro area is getting some really amazing TV shows and movies on the wake of Twilight being filmed around these parts... Fringe (the TV show) is now being filmed on location in Portland, a still untitled film with Keri Russell, Harrison Ford & Branden Frasier wrapped about a month ago, several other films are planning shoots in our area! YEAH!!!!
All this... and so much more because of a little story that many laughed at... I love it!! The Pacific Northwest, Canada included is an amazing place with such culture, beauty and lots of open spaces and places to see and things to do!!!

Love it! Anything "Twilight" is interesting for me. I feel pretty honored to live in Portland, Oregon....where they actually filmed most of the movie! Unfortunately, they won't be coming back here since they have $$$ now!

yeah it really pees me off how we cant see most videos from the US. i want to see The Vampire Diaries online considering it probably wont be on uk tv for freaking ages. but no, the EW has to complicated that way and not let anyone from outside the US watch it. grr
