Hmm I think Jackson played good as Jasper, GO TEAM JASPER! He's the reason why I watched the twilight saga and bought the whole set of books because I was really curious why so many people loved it. RP played EC perfectly, the role is perfectly for him. As for ben, he's too old for the role as for shiloh damn, he's hot too, he can play edward as well but anyway, let him play other vampire role aside from twilight.

Wow...those guys are very good looking but none of them look like they would have been right for the part of Edward. I started reading the twilight books before the movie was even in production and I know who rob pattinson was form harry potter :) The minute I found out he was going to play edward i knew he was perfect for the part! I mean c'mon! Its not just the fact that hes gorgeous, hes a really really good actor! His and Kristens chemistry is undeniable! Even if they arent an item who cares?
Oh and also its kinda dumb to hate someone you dont even know! I mean seriously! Would you want someone who doesnt even know you to hate you? Its ridiculous! Besides I seriously doubt you have met Kristen or Rob or any of the cast sp you dont even know them. Im not trying to be mean but thats just the truth and you can complain about her all you want that still doesnt change anything. Shes Bella and if you dont like her and you think shes a crappy actress then dont watch New Moon. Nevertheless you will probably be one of those fans who wait in line through rain or storm to see the movie that KRISTENS in. :D

I think that Ben Barns definatly should have gottin the role! I think R.P. is just OK! Jackson Rathbone was born to play Jasper. Shiloh............................ Wow, you are really lucky you got to be an extra! I'm a bit far away (in Africa) but I've been an extra on some movies and it's really great to see what famous actors are like up close & if they're really arrogant or shy. I think it would be terrible if any of the main actors had to be replaced, it would really ruin the series and I don't think anyone could ever replace Edward or Bella now.

No matter how many detractors have criticized Twilight as a movie... it's undeniable it's been incredibly successful, and for many reasons: the force of the story, the fan base of the book, but most importantly it's about the cast and the director. Personally I loved the film, probably more than the book. I love Catherine Hardwicke and her movies, and Twilight is my favourite of hers. And the cast is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT... I don't understand why Rob was bashed like that when he was chosen to play Edward, I think he pulled it off very well... when I was reading the book for the very first time I came to dislike Edward (oh yes, I'm not kidding), and his performance really made me change my mind a bit about the character. This shows that some Twilight fans didn't fall for Rob because he played Edward but exactly the opposite.
Nothing to say about Kristen, except I didn't really like her before Twilight and now she's one of my favourite young actresses for sure. There must be a reason why some people (just girls, what a coincidence) hate her... is it because of Rob or just because she's famous and all? Sorry, girls but you are just MEAN and FRUSTRATED. Who cares if she smokes pot? Personally, I don't. What's important to consider in an actor or in general an artist is the emotions the person gives you with his skills, I'm not concerned with his personal lifestyle, that's strictly his business. One of my favourite actors died of a drug overdose at 23, but I don't judge his personal choices of self distruction because he was terrific as an actor and musician and... Rob reminded me of him in Twilight. If Twilight was created in the late 80's this actor would have been the first choice for Edward Cullen, no doubt about that!
I don't understand why people keep thinking about recasting roles, even as a game, or revealing who was runner-up for a certain role... I don't like it. Though Rachelle was sadly replaced, I don't want to see the lead roles of Twilight been recast just because girls are jealous and can't stand the chemistry between Rob and Kristen. Who would you choose instead? Lost for words, eh?
Kristen is really cute, I've seen her pretty close on May 29th since I've been an extra in Montepulciano during the shoot of the infamous Porsche scene... she's so tiny and looked pretty shy, anyway she waved her hand to say hello, I imagined she was very embarassed about all the attention. I thought she was lovely, much prettier than in the pictures I've seen. I dared not even smile at her or say hello (I believe the production wouldn't have liked that at all) so I ignored her but I saw her, and Ashley too. GREAT, JUST GREAT to be part of the Twilight saga, even just for a day.

I googled it now and looked everywhere and nowhere is it confirmed that she's smoking pot or anything else illegal. My friend also has a pipe that he smokes tobacco in, it's actually quite common and not illegal at all. If she was doing something illegal I don't think she'd do it in front of her house when anyone could photograph her. At least she's not like Lindsay Lohan or other former LA child stars who go completely off the rails by the time they're her age. When you're in the spotlight like she is, the media will do anything and everything to find faults with you and tear you down which is really quite sad. I also think she's really beautiful, not like most of the young hollywood stars who look like barbies.
