Update on Unbound Captives filming and release dates

Thanks to ROBsessed, we have an update on the filming schedule for Unbound Captives, in which Rob Pattinson will star along with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman. The film will be directed by Madeline Stowe. What a great cast! I can’t wait for this one.
An article in the Deccan Herald had this to say:
[Producer] Amritraj right now is excited about his 100th production, Unbound Captives, which will be shot towards 2009-end and ready for release by early 2011. “It will be a big epic in the scale of Laurence of Arabia, and Stowe’s first effort at direction. John Toll of Braveheart and Last Samurai will be the cinematographer. It’s probably the biggest in scope and scale among all my films, and will have a budget of 80-90 million dollars,†he says.
If you are unfamiliar with Unbound Captives or Rob’s role in it, IMDB describes it briefly as follows: “A widowed woman is rescued by a frontiersman and the two search for her kidnapped children.” Another article has this description: “Weisz will now play a woman whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped by a Comanche war party in 1859. She is later rescued by a frontiersman, to be played by Jackman. Pattinson will play the son.”
It doesn’t look like Rob will be taking a break any time soon. He is supposed to be back in NYC to complete filming on Remember Me, then will begin filming Eclipse in a few weeks, then off to New Zealand & New Mexico to film Unbound Capitives. On top of that, Rob is signed on to star in Bel Ami, for which production dates have not been announced, and, of course, Breaking Dawn. My guess is that since Unbound Captives will film late 2009 that Breaking Dawn will film in the spring. Fingers crossed for another quick turnaround!
