Ashley Greene on Why Fans are so Obsessed With Twi Relationships

E News caught up with Ashley Greene at the Vision Awards and had some interesting conversation. What they said is true, people either love the idea of Rob and Kristen together or absolutely hate it. There has also been some heat regarding Jackson Rathbone and Ashley Greene. Here’s how the interview went - 

Why do you think fans either need Rob and Kristen or you and Jackson to be together, or need you to be apart?

I think maybe part of it is the fans see that relationship onscreen and want it to be real, which is great for all of us to hear because at least we’re doing a good job portraying the fact that we’re absolutely enamored with each other. And of course, there’s real chemistry there. On the other extreme, it’s usually because they really just don’t like one of us!

That’s so candid! And true probably. 
People usually think one person is better than the other. 

Do you guys ever see comment boards where fans, shall we say, express their feelings about all you guys?
Oh sure. I mean, I’ve heard “Ashley is so not good enough for Jackson,” and I’m like, oh my God! 

Rob and Kristen get a lot of that too…
Yeah, they get a lot of “No, he can’t date her.” 

Does it get to you guys?
We can’t let it! We’re all just like, all right whatever!

What do you guys think? Do you like the idea of the Twi stars dating in real life, hate it, or think it should be left alone? Just for the record, I’m for the latter.

    So Rob & Kris make a really cute couple aesthetically, and as for the others, they were cast to make good couples, and there's chemistry there, but tbh it's actually really easy to act in love. We're not the ones to judge. It's their life and that's how it should be. Whether or not they are, it's up to them, and it's none of our business...although it would be nice to know :P

    i don't think actors should go out in real life just because they're together in a film.
    because if the relationship ends badly, then that chemistry will be portrayed in the film.

  • I think all the actors shoud ignore anything anyone says. I love Twilight and I think the characters are right where they need to be. I also think Robert and Kristen have such great chemistry they should really be dating!! You guys are awesome and I can;t wait for all the other movies.

    i think they should be left alone, they are real people like us and they are just doing a great job in the movies. Ashley is great in the movie and her character in the book is awesome!!

    People should get to be with whoever they want, even if they are celebreties. I mean, what would you think if people started to say that you should be together with that person, and you're not good enough for that person ect. ect. ?

    I think there all great and they all look great together, that's why they were picked as each others partners for the movies. They are actors, and are suppose to look like there really in love, we don't know what they are like ''not in character'', so who's to say they are meant to be together? Not any of us that's for sure. Just remember it's the character's acting towards their movie partners your crazy about, it's a movie remember. I'm sure there all wonderful people in real life, and I would absolutely love to meet any of them, and hope I get to when I go to Vancouver and take the Twilight set tour, that were garanteed to at least see one of the Twilight actors, and any one of them would be awesome :) 299.00 Per person!! Soo very worth it :) All of you are great actors and I absolutely love the books, and Twilight, and New Moon, looks soo great, I just can't wait.. Have a countdown for the movie on my face book :) And A Twilight collection in my room, I will buy anything Twilight :).. Stephanie Meyer, you rock!! I hope you have a part in the rest of the movies as well :) I wish my dreams can be as good as yours! And the entire cast of Twilight, AmazinglyAwesome job! Better people couldn't have been picked for the movies! They all fit perfectly with the characters there playing!!
