Emma Watson is a Twilight lover!

EmmaWatson

Emma Watson, Hermione of the Harry Potter films, is featured in the August issue of Elle UK Magazine. In the interview she mentions that she is a big Twilight fan.

My other guilty pleasure is Twilight. I love those books. My friend and I read them back to back. This is so sad, but I literally felt depressed when I finished reading them because I thought, “Oh my God, what am I going to do now?”

I felt the same way when I finished the series, so I just re-read them! I wonder if she enjoyed the movie version, starring her friend and former co-star Rob Pattinson? Now why does Twilight always have to be a “guilty pleasure”? Can’t we all be proud of our Twi-session?

Since I have to wait till November for New Moon, I am anxiously awaiting the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince next month! Thanks to Twilight_Movie.org for the heads up!

I am not much of a reader, well actually I don't like reading at all. I was sick for a couple months with a stomach tumor and I was pretty much stuck in bed. I watched twilight on DVD and then felt the need of wanting more so I picked up the book. Well one book led to all four in like 2 weeks. It was the first time I sat down and read a book for hours. My family thought something was wrong with me. I loved the books and when I was done well I too felt like what now? I even went as far as to read whatever was posted for Midnight sun and I even read a few written by fans on the internet. I would give anything to get the feeling I get when I read these books. I have not found one book that makes me feel like the Twilight Saga does. I love Bella, Edward and Jacob. It only leaves me wanting more............ Twilight is the best thing to happen since well, I don't know......Can't wait for the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think emma watson is great. She makes time for all the little things in life when shes such a huge star. She doesnt act like shes really important, she just is like a normal teenager. (i liked the last book of HP more than breaking dawn) but the other book are amazing! loveyouemmawatson!

  • Just wondering about personally what did you think of the harry potter books. I've read the twilight seen the harry potter movies too. But what do you think about the books?? Of and anyone feel free to answer as well. Are they worth reading. Is it better than twilight. Hat do out think personally??

I read Harry Potter books as they came out one by one and they were my favorite books while growing up. Now, Twilight has taken the place. I think they might be equally great, just different kinds of great. I don't know how I'd feel if I hadn't read the books and read them all now in a couple of days or weeks, because I think a lot of the value of the books was the hype, that you absolutely had to know what happens next and you had to wait for a year or two to read the next one, so you had a lot o time to ponder over them, speculate and all that. I don't know what are people's opinions if they read them over a short period of time. I know I read the Twilight books when they were all published (not competing or anything, just saying that I enjoyed them that much that I couldn't put them down, which is, you know, a good thing) and I loved to read them even without all the speculation (though I wonder what I would've made of the quotes Stephenie's official page published before the third and the fourth books came out). I think they're both great, just that now when I know everything there is to know about Harry Potter (book wise), I guess I don't like it that much. It was about the hype and the mystery. The movies are and will be great though, can't wait for the sixth one in two weeks! But I kinda think that the early books of HP were kind of boring (maybe because I didn't read them in English, which is the best language ever, especially if it's the original language for a novel; which is why I'm writing mine in English).
Sorry for the long post, I just have a lot of thoughts on the subject. :)
  • Hey I agree with all of you. Hard cover is better than soft. Emma Watson doesn't need photo hop. And I also agree that it doesn't matter how long it took to read the books. As long as you enjoyed reading the books. I gotta say though. I loved the book and movie. But the movie did really live up to what I expected after the book. I mean the meadow in the book was a big step which also included in the second. And in the movie it was only like 30 seconds. Oh and I gotta ask. What do you guys think. Is rob going out with kristen?? That's my Q for you. Email back I wanna know what u think about it!! Oh an I just can't wait till new moon comes out even though personally new moon book to me was the most boring book of the saga. Email ASAP!!! :[
  • It's like most of you are more bothered about who
read them all in the quickest time, I read all four
in about a month and a half, I don't care it took me
    longer, I still enjoyed them.
  • I know what you mean. People are always competing I see how long I takes I read a book!! I don't care how long it took for to to read it as long a you enjoyed it!!!
  • twilighttaylorlautnerparamore
i had that feeling. so i read them again nd have read them 11 times since. Im soo obsessed im foto copying 4 chapters so i can take them on camp coz i dont want to get my hard cover books wrecked. Im buying soft cover 1s tho so i can read them and just have my hard coves for show. Hard cover are sooooo much better than soft.
  • Jeanne
Oh, and as for reading Twilight back-to-back, I did that for about 6 weeks, so no judging here. I also read them all in a week between school and house stuff... couldn't put them down!
  • Jeanne
You do know that the picture of Emma is a manipulation, right? If you had to write an article, you could have picked a better picture... She looks much better in real pictures. As for interviews in magazines like Elle (yes, she did the cover shoot, but interviews are not always legit), you have to take them with a grain of salt. I'm not saying it isn't true, because I wish it was, you know, Emma Watson is my favorite actress (one of the few pages I check 5 time daily is emmawatson.net) and Twilight are my favorite books. BUT she said in a video interview (so that IS legit) around December or Januray that she hasn't had time to read the books yet. Maybe she has now, but that would be doubtful, since to the best of my knowledge up until promoting Tale of Desperaux in December, she had a bit of free time, whereas in January or February she started shooting Deathly Hallows, which is very time-consuming.
So I hope it is true, but I'm not completely sure. And use a better pic for crying out loud! (this one is HEAVILY photoshopped and she doesn't need photoshop)
  • I agree that Emma Watson doesn't need to be photoshopped - she's already stunningly beautiful! But in between scenes on the set of Harry Potter I've heard that she reads a lot of books to pass the time.
  • I love Twilight and Emma Watson! I read the books continuously back-to-back and I can name all of the cast and I've read every interview. Also looking forward to the New Moon special in Empire magazine! Yay! CAn't wait for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince or New Moon.
