Hollywood Crush got to the bottom of many questions we had after watching the recently released Eclipse trailer (watch it again here). Possibly the most important question being, was Bella wearing an engagement ring?!? Read on for lots of wardrobe information and to find out about that ring–

The same costume designer who clothed the ”New Moon” cast, Tish Monaghan, returned to duty for the third movie in the saga, “Eclipse.” Lucky for us — that meant she was just a phone call away. Yes, it’s true after the first trailer for “Eclipse” hit the Internet, we were plagued by many probing questions related to the fashions of the main characters. Besides, uh, those wigs (which we got Kristen Stewart herself to talk about), there is one other thing that many of you are dying to know: is that an engagement ring on Bella’s finger in the pics from the meadow?

Don’t worry we got to the bottom of this “rocky” mystery and, in the process, found out a bunch of other fun facts from Tish about the wardrobe that you’ve seen so far in the trailer. So step back inside the “Twilight” closet…

IS THAT AN ENGAGEMENT RING?

YES! “This is an engagement ring on Bella’s finger!” Tish confirmed. “This is something that was made for her by the props department.” In other words: she doesn’t have a whole lotta info to share on it. So, until we are able to investigate further, we should point out that the ring (at least what we can see of it from our extreme zoom-in) looks like he could be quite similar to the domed oval one authorized by author Stephenie Meyer after the “Eclipse” book came out, which is for sale by Infinite Jewelry Co. If you’re wondering what Kristen and Robert Pattinson are wearing in the above pic, Tish says Kristen is in a cashmere sweater from J Crew and J Brand Jeans. Rob is “probably wearing” a Banana Republic shirt.

The first thing on the docket this morning was for me to have my photo taken with Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli. I had been warned of the hotness factor in the photo room by ladies in front of me in line, so I tried to adequately prepare myself. Instead, I was just as giddy as a schoolgirl. AS I have said before, I hate posting photos of myself on the site, but how could I NOT post these pics?? Be kind…

Peter and Kellan did a joint Q&A session today.  Well, they each  had 30 minutes on their own and then 30 minutes together. These two are quite the pair when they get in the same room.  I can tell their conversations are very much in the gutter. lol [Read more →]

The girls from The Hillywood Show are hoping that the shorter, more limited Eclipse implies good things about the film.

There will just have to be an Eclipse parody from the Hillywood gang and we’ll post it down the road.

In anticipation of the release of New Moon on DVD next week, Chris Weitz talked with FEARnet about both the filming of the movie and the DVD extras, such as commentary.

FEARnet: Listening to the commentary during the scene where Edward makes his speech about Romero & Juliet in school, you said that you should probably shut up and just let Robert Pattinson talk. But what was your actual approach when you came in to produce the bonus materials on this DVD and Blu-ray, given the fact that although you were joking that might partially be true?

Chris Weitz: Well, it’s funny because it’s very difficult to talk about cutting any scene with Edward or Taylor because I know that the fans can’t imagine why you wouldn’t have a three-hour version of the movie. So I have to be very diplomatic and careful as to how I explain how a certain scene was cut a certain way in order for the flow of the story. To a lot of Twilight fans, less is never more. So it’s funny that when [editor] Peter Lambert I’m doing the commentary, it’s like a couple of old guys interrupting the viewing of the movie. But of course, they have the option of just turning us off, so I’d like to think that for the very few people who actually want to hear anything that I have to say about the movie, we’re there for them.
